Impressive! We need to get you some UL listed, hi-heat, Data wire with some proper shielding. You could make a new Engine wire harness. Probably fix everything!
Well almost. I think we have a little programming issue too.

So if you believe heat in the harness is the main culprit of the dummy lights, have you done anything to mitigate it?
Have you wrapped your wires with tinfoil or anything?

I say tinfoil, only because that was a known fix for certain erratic shifting with the auto tranny behind the Cummins in the late 90s, early 2000s. The base problem was electrical noise from the alternator. Tinfoil was free and maybe 10 minutes work, vs several hundred dollars and an hours work. Plus new alternators only fixed the problem for so long and it would come back. Shielded, twisted pair wires would also fix the problem, but again, that costed money and took more time to do it right.
