Didn't answer my question. Wheres the documentation to back up your statement that NHTSA can force a change to the pump or any Doc. that was provided to them that any change was made to the internals. Because their isn't any documentation for either .
Spin the same question around, do you have documentation to prove they didn’t change anything or the NHTSA (once a formal safety recall is declared) has no influence on the remedy? Where is your support?

Just because it hasn’t been published to us yet doesn’t necessarily mean that it doesn’t exist or there is a conspiracy between Stellantis and the NHTSA to screw us all. If nothing was changed and they just changed the labeling, the truth will come out eventually and we can all join a class action lawsuit. Until then you can assume the worst and least likely course of events (that they just changed the part #) and others can interpret differently, opinions are like asses and the lack of published documentation in isolation doesn’t prove or disprove anything.

"I" am not assuming anything, I am stating that their is no Documentation of any internal changes has been provided.. period. So if you want to assume their is a change to the pump that's fine I don't rely on assumptions.

Can you provide DoCuMeNtAtIoN on where i said that the NHTSA can or did "force" them? Oh, strange, there isn't any because i didn't say that. All i said is that the NHTSA would not let them replace the pumps without some form of remedy that would satisfy the HPFP failure and the recall that was issued. If they said that they improved the HPFP to improve durability on the NHTSA documentation that was made public and also what they have internally, and turns out to be false, then i guess you will be the first one in line for the lawsuit. You may not believe it, but i doubt that Stellanatis would create more liability than what they already have on hand with these HPFP going out.

I have reynolds tinfoil, non-stick reynolds tinfoil or store brand tinfoil.

No, but you are assuming that there has been no changes to the pump. And i will wait for your documentation for your accusations as well.

The recall pumps are stamped differently compared to the original CP4 pumps. Plus, NHTSA wouldn't let them replace the pumps without some revised or different pump. So, its probably still the CP4 pump exterior but the internals are different.
Ok got me you didn't say forced..

Yeah...calm down. The proof of the pump being modified or not to improve reliability may never be known...even with the lawsuits against Bosch, the many years of recalls with Ford Powerstrokes with the Bosch CP 4.2 and Dodge Ram 6.7 Cummins 2018 t0 2020, and Duramax and Dodge Ram1500 Ecodieseland Jeep Grand Cherokee and JL and JT Ecodiesels. Trying to point out the obvious here...the pump was bad, stayed bad, and is bad. Replacements times two and even three with continued failures at even very low milage are legend...numerous...indefensible.

Ok ok ok… I finally got mine done today. I’d like to give a history on mine because I couldn’t read everyone else’s response. My JT was giving me a CEL every other time I would get on the highway. Meaning, I would drive it, get on the highway because I live in florida everything requires a highway, get to work or destination. When done, get back in vehicle and drive back on the highway and then the CEL would come on. I have a scanner to turn it off and it’s the same code of P026C every time. Stellantis actually called me and told me, after bringing it to the dealership numerous times, that code will keep being thrown because of the HPFP. So, with that said, has anyone had the same CEL because of the recall and did you get your recall done and did the code stop? Or stop triggering a CEL code? Please let me know. I am really tired of that damn code.

So, my recall repair was completed in one day. They must have also re-flashed it because my MPGs have improved. In 31K miles I have seen a decrease in MPGs over time. I had thought it was do to winter mix fuel and other things, It went from 27-30 mpgs hwy to averaging 21-23 in stock configuration with a tonneau. This morning's commute of 24 miles, it was averaging 28.8. I'm going to give it some time to see if the computer is relearning. But I also feel that the HPFP was failing, because my truck at idle was sending morse code messages/chirping/squealing noises. Those noises are now gone. Zero CEL lights during the first 31K miles.

As far as the 4xe loaner goes, the ride was nice, the wind pushed it around a whole lot more than my JTRD. Not a fan of the electric 25 mile range, I do like the regen though, but feel it would take a long time to recharge while driving. I drove it in hybrid mode until it was at 45% and then E-save mode and the button on the main console activated, and it would recharge while decelerating or braking. The off the line torque and acceleration was fun, and it was quiet like a golf cart. I'm not certain that I would trade my JTRD in for a JT4xe if they do produce one, unless the battery range was increased to say 100 miles, and the tow capacity and CCC was also increased, which is unlikely.

The last 2 tanks of fuel. I picked up 1 mpg on the lie-o-meter. The temperature went up at the same time. And I didn't have a reflash.

got my jeep back today after they were not able to recreate the stalling and losing of power. they said everything checked out good, fuel pump pressure, diesel in the tank, fuel filter, and no codes. So basically they said nothing is wrong and see if it happens again. Hopefully it won't happen again but it'll always be in the back of my mind now. especially when out camping and far away from home

Can I ask my dealership to reflash my PCM? Is it part of the process of the recall?
