Factory Alpine Premium sound system

That's what I was hoping. Saw threads where stock speakers are replaced with improvements, but I wasn't sure if the Alpine premium were already considered good speakers.

The Alpine speakers really aren’t anything special. Below are pics of the non Alpine dash speakers from my wife’s 2020 JLU compared to the Alpine speakers from my 2021 JT.
(Non-Alpine on top, Alpine on bottom in first two pics, Alpine on left in third pic).

Interesting to note that the non-Alpine measures 2.75” while the Alpine measures 3.5”. Either way, the Infinity Reference or the Kicker Dsc is a good upgrade.

After reading twenty threads, I'm very confused.

Are these speakers an upgrade over the premium Alpine system? Will there be a noticeable difference?

No, not for the premium. For oaper mache stock garbage, yes.

I think you were asking the person who posted before you, but I can say without a doubt, the Infinity Reference speakers are MUCH better than the Alpines. More clean and crisp. I listen to a lot of rock, and the Alpines hardly had any of the highs. After putting in the infinity’s, I can hear every cymbal crash and high hat well.

My 2022 Willys Gladiator says it has the Alpine premium audio system, but there is no Sub that I can find? Am I missing something?

The speakers are the same across all trim models. The Premium Alpine upgrade consists of the Amp and Subwoofer.

No. Sub is behind the rear passenger seat. You can see it when you flip the passenger rear seat down. If you have it, you can't miss it.
