If you put "Free Jeep Parts" on your Jeep, someone with criminal tendencies might think you're giving away free Jeep parts, maybe even from your Jeep.

Hmmm, the photo makes it look like the driver's side fender is orange and the passenger side is red. That is weird.

I really like that I'll take on with heat and I wonder if you could add paddle shifters to it
I’m now tempted as well. And have the same question about paddles.

I wouldn't say "standard" but definitely not with the higher end wheel like they used to..........

And Mojave owners will likely not like seeing this on a 2025 Jeep sitting in the showroom......

My '23. Thinking the original Mojave interior trim was a bit more appealing.

most parts are staged based on the VIN of the next vehicle in the line. So - the people putting things on were presented with incorrect parts, they don't generally "grab" incorrect parts.
Still - inspections might catch such things - but most inspections are for defects, scratches, dings, missing parts, bolts in incorrectly (typically flagged by the equipment installing the part) and so on. It's a lot more complicated than it was 50 years ago.
My friend's wife works as a supervisor at a car plant. Her training was inspection for flaws during assembly at all steps. They have a short time limit to inspect, find and fix minor mistakes or flag vehicle with major problems to be pulled out of line. It was a 9 month training program. She was totally beat about every day during the program.

Ugh, I picked up my '25 Mojito Mojave order yesterday and realized this change on the way home. My first thought was someone installed the wrong wheel by mistake. So, I actually rerouted a bit on my way home to stop off at another dealership on the chance I could arrest my concern by peaking at another '25 Mojave's wheel through the window. Then, when I got to that dealership I heard a giant thud when my heart hit the ground after I saw the same non-premium wheel in that Mojave too.
For the love of all that is good and holy, I'm a bit sad to see this is the "new normal" in Mojave driving comfort which is now a tiny bit less driving comfort. ...And to think that the premium steering wheel was a call out in prior Mojave literature. I call foul on Jeep and think a little shaming is in order.
Uh, so, where is the online petition form to right this wrong? ...Asking for a friend!

I never noticed any different in "comfort" but They have taken away one of the differences of that "premium level" of Gladiator.
Personally, it's still a far better steering wheel than I'm used to in every non-Jeep I've ever owned, but - I get that it was a surprise, and anyone looking to suddenly see it was deleted without fanfare........

I did a mild search on this and hadn't seen anyone mention appealing it to Jeep or missed that conversation. So, since the Monroney Sticker still list the steering wheel as "Premium-Wrapped Steering Wheel" I'm thinking I'll ask my Sales Mgr to contact his zone rep or whoever on Monday? Or has this been done and met with much defeat?
Thanks.

This is true-ish.

In Toledo a ton of things are "kitted" by various sequencers on site or in the Supplier Park.

And they can certainly make errors. Vision systems are used for anything truly critical, but no matter what, that line doesn't stop. I've seen heart attacks, trucks missing entire beds, rolling down the line, still being built, they'll fix it in the lot lol.

Guy on the line isn't going to question a thing, he's going to pop the template on, apply the emblem, roll it out, take the template off, and keep right on watching Game of Thrones until the next one rolls up.

Could be caught in final audit, but it's close enough it looks right.

This goes back years ago - but a guy I know who was a supervisor at a Ford plant, and my own father, who worked in a factory, said - if you drop that bolt, it stays dropped.
You don't stop and/or bend over to pick it up. The janitor takes care of that stuff later.

Dad got permission slips now and then to take things out of the trash, and thus the plant, and bring it home. That's one reason I have several coffee cans full of bolts, nuts, washers and so on. I've got quite a collection of lawn mower wheel shoulder bolts and some other special parts.

I'm sure in staging in more modern factories all these years later - there's mistakes now and then like the original post was about.

OH NO, I just compared my '25's Moroney to an older '21 that I had and on the '21 the steering wheel was called a "Competition Leather-Wrapped Steering Wheel", but the '25's Moroney lists a "Premium-Wrapped Steering Wheel". Darn it!

Ugh, so I guess no more COMPETITIONS for '25 Mojave owners. DARN IT AGAIN!

We are now just premium which seems just a mere a step above standard. However, compared to Competition, Premium feels like kissing cousins away from standard. Sure, you won't get run out of town for it, but you sure don't want to brag about it with any of your friends!

Also, I checked the website's '25 interior build out view and well, you can see for your self that we get what we get! https://www.jeep.com/bmo.gladiator....PW7,GX,ERC,DFT,DMF,Z1E,TW2,WFT,PL,UBX,SDU,24A

Well, I've got to give it to the sneaky sneak sneaker who snuck this in on me. So, good job on doing a not so good thing Jeep! Now I feel like I felt when I owned an F-150 and always wondered what new lesser part the substituted into my model year.
