My dealer told me tonight that it was slated for December - their accessories person agreed.

The part numbers that I posted are real just need t wait until Dec 31 to place order...I have that done but the order is not processing and I would guess it will not until the 31st of Dec.

Yep. See post #41 from September.
LOL - and my point - matches yours and others - no use asking about it every other day - the answer will be "still end of December" no matter how often or when asked
(no offense to anyone lurking/reading, but like 'what time is it" "2 minutes later than last time" gotta be goofy sometimes, or life gets crazy boring)
I told them I'd check with them in early January as I won't be towing before then anyway - especially with the WEATHER as it's been - and then I said I'll compare their price vs. one of the other sources/after-market. (and said I could do it myself)

I have to wonder if it actually is Dec 31 or if that's just an arbitrary date that means next year some time. I know in other situations if you see Dec 31 as the release date it means they don't know but it ain't this year.

That’s what they said about the refurbished PCMs for the 05/06 TJs.
Then they said they no longer support that part.

You all just relax and be patient they will make the kit...

If you need it now then get what you can to work...

I highly doubt that they will not support this it is hardly an 05/06 TJ...FCA is only required to support up to 10 years after final production...

For those who need trailer brake control now, here is a great video detailing a Gladiator specific Redarc Elite install and both harnesses (with Part numbers) needed.

I plan to install it where the factory 12V Outlet/Cigarette Lighter plug is. That is where the OEM one gets installed from the pics I’ve seen. I would then relocate the 12V plug elsewhere since you can never have enough of them these days with phones and other electronic devices.

There's already 3 USB up front (1 in the console, two in the dash) and there are 2 USB ports on the back of the console and a 110v plug, too!
I have a brick to power my phone or tablet if I need to - just make sure it's charged up and I can recharge a phone up to 3 times. Only ever really need to have one thing plugged in at a time, though - the odds of running tablet, phone and other device down at the same time and needing more than the current ports are slim for me. I could always use the 110
So with 2 USB in the back of the console, 1 inside the console, 2 in the dash and a 110v receptacle on the back of the console - I think I'm beyond covered LOL
I can certainly give up that 12v hole.
