has anyone thought of putting a hidden switch in the +5v wire of the electronic throttle

Might add too much resistance into the circuit, and throw CELs. Might not… not a risk I’d want, especially with how sensitive the electronics are already…has anyone thought of putting a hidden switch in the +5v wire of the electronic throttle
CP4 is a mechanical belt driven pump. Kill the in tank pump will cause it to run dry, which will get damage if someone attempting to crank the motor.Apologies I know this is off topic, but can you expand on the "not with this CP4 Pump" statement?
Is there something specific about this pump that makes the fuel cutoff a bad idea?
Local police have a copy. They picked her up and took her in that night. According the cop. They took her to the hospital psych ward. I never kept a copy.Still have the video? ?
I had thought about using something like ->I've been thinking of making a motion activated flashing strobe with a speaker and a recording - "Intrusion Detected! Anti-Personnel Countermeasures Will Be Deployed in 10, 9, 8, 7...
Thinking of it for my outbuildings but it could work in a vehicle as well.
The challenge is hitting the sweet spot of thieves who are stupid enough to believe it but smart enough to know what words like "countermeasures" mean.I had thought about using something like ->
The word " Anti-Personnel " does it for me.The challenge is hitting the sweet spot of thieves who are stupid enough to believe it but smart enough to know what words like "countermeasures" mean.
But if you don't lock your doors then they won't have to worry about what's under the hood. When your fancy dual battery system walks away while you’re having dinner you might care. When that awesome snorkel gets jacked while you’re asleep in your hotel room you’ll care. When that great underhood compressor goes missing while you’re watching a movie you’ll care. And enjoy the deductible on your insurance. Speaking of insurance enjoy the increase in premiums from a) ease of loss and b) claims made.
Thank you! Good to know.CP4 is a mechanical belt driven pump. Kill the in tank pump will cause it to run dry, which will get damage if someone attempting to crank the motor.
That'd be a question for @ShadowsPapaAnyone know if Jscan has the ability to set Hood alarm?
Funny you say that. I had a convertible years ago and never bothered locking it since I never left anything in it and didn’t want them slicing the top to get in. I woke up at a hotel while traveling and found they’d slit the roof to open the unlocked door. Again, its not the smart ones that get caught. But if you don't lock your doors then they won't have to worry about what's under the hood.
