I found a set of painted fenders local to me for a good price, they're from a 2022 Mojave. Set includes the liners also, and LEDs. I have a 2020 Sport S with black fenders. Will these '22 Mojave fenders/liners fit my truck?

The Mojave and Rubicon fenders do sit up higher along the hood line for more clearance. Better looking in my opinion, sounds like a score.

I *think* they still bolt up the same but never done it myself so I'll refer to someone else on that.

I think the larger issue will be wiring for the fender lights. If I am not mistaken, you do not have DRLs on the fender, if that is the case, there may be some blackwizardy needed to wire up the DRLs and Turn signals for the newer fenders.

I think you're correct about the lack of DRL's on my Sport S fenders. Do the lights use the same housing? Could I put my current fender lights in the Mojave fenders?

Just guessing here again, but I'm fairly sure the mounting holes/sizes of the housings are different. I am sure there are writeups on here about what is needed to facilitate the DRL function. I would have to assume is a simple wire to some existing terminal and then maybe a function change with tazer/jscan

My Max Tow Sport had DRLs but they weren't activated. I used the JScan and activated it and they I was able to picked 2 different spots to have them activated. That could be the case with your sport S. As far as the fenders working as long as your getting the liners as well everything will mount up and work. Rubicon and Mojave liners are different than the sport and overland liners.

If its a decent price, I would buy them, they are kind of hard to find…
in my opinion the high clearance fenders look better than the sports do… plus if you decide to go 35s you have the extra space to do so without flare clearance issues..
one thing to keep in mind is if you dont have the max tow on your sport then your axles aren't quite as wide so if you’re still on stock wheels they will be inside the flares more

They will also hit on the Lower control arms without it being a Max Tow on stock wheels at full lock unless you get a 35 11.5 17. The 35 12.5 17 and 315 17 70 will both hit.

If I could find a set of painted (Sarge Green) front Mojave/Rubicon fenders with liners locally I would be all over it. Good for you finding a painted set for a good price!

They will just bolt/clip right on no issues. I have Rubicon flares on my Sport .. wasn't an issue.

DRL's might be an issue but you likely have all the wiring, just need to enable it using a Tazer or JScan etc....

I appreciate all the feedback. I picked them up last night, so will try to make time to install them within the next few days.

Should be fine. Was able to fit rubicon fenders with LEDs on my 2020 Sport S without factory LEDs. Just had to use Jscan to enable. Just get some extra clips and Christmas trees to replace the ones that break when removing the sport flares. Definitely good you got the liners also, you’ll need those.

Enjoy the additional clearance. If you are running stock wheels, may want spacers to fill out the wider fenders…I had to get some spacers because I couldn’t stand the look. Then moved on to a more aggressive wheel/tire setup. Slippery slope. Have fun!
