That's his point. Unlike on the JL, the fender doesn't interfere with the rear door, so there's no need for the angle on the JT rear doors. Instead of designing a different rear door for the JT, they just used the same doors, and the angle looks out of place/serves no purpose.The back doors are identical on JL and JT
Similarly they won't design a JT specific half door to meet the rear body line.
