These will sell like hotcakes! Basically nothing on the market right now and the stock lights, especially the non-led ones are horrible. I'll be getting these as soon as they are available.
Assuming the price isn’t too high. I realize there is a good bit of R&D going into these, but if cost is too high they still won’t sell to the majority that aren’t willing to pay too much. Basically these and the Oculus headlights (standard ones, not color changing) together should be less than the factory LED package, not sure how feasible that will be.

Hey guys, just wanted to give an update on the design process. The design team is closing in on final design revisions before sending the CAD to engineering.

Since the previous renderings, we have slightly modified the design. The red lens will be responsible for displaying the LEDs as well as catering a side reflector. The lens has also been extended from the previous design, so there will be additional red lighting when facing the rear of the vehicle.

For the reverse light, the team is looking into standard reverse functions with turn signal integration. The large space beside the reverse light will be for the rear cross traffic sensor. More details will emerge from the engineering process.

Expecting sendoff to be by either the end of the week or early next week. Design is subject to change throughout this process. Thank you for your continued support and we will be sure to give you additional updates in the coming weeks.

I honestly don’t like these as much as the previous rendering. Lower profile looked cleaner, and I think it had enough rear red lighting. Just my opinion

So far Oracle has impressed me with being priced cheaper that mopar and having a better product. I am hoping for that same pricing as well and think they will hit that.

@Oracle Designs I know you guys are busy with the development of these lights, but is there any type of update you can provide?

Definitely not my taste. IMO people have gotten out of hand with all the spartan style stickers and logos plastering their jeeps (but to each their own, we each like what we like). My 2 cents: keep anything on the light not easily removable as OEM looking as much as possible please.
Well it is a Gladiator.

Update on the Flush Mount Tail Light:

Good news! The first engineering revisions have been completed and reviewed. With this being said, we are already starting to make additional revisions to the first engineered design. The process will consist of more styling and functional adjustments in CAD software. After these initial changes and further reviews, we are going to start outlining the 3D printing process for product fitment and testing. Stay tuned for more details in the coming weeks.

Will you guys come out with one option to start?

I would assume they will start with one version to gauge initial interest (via pre-order list), then probably later on offer other versions (smoked, clear). It’s just more efficient to start off making one version of a new product and recoup as much of the initial R&D cost as possible, then later on invest in additional versions.

Ok, here is our Friday update! One thing that we had to develop a solution for is the integration of a reflector. In order for the lights to meet compliance we had to have a side reflective surface since the original tail lights have this feature. It was rather difficult to develop a way to have a reflector without compromising the overall design of the tail light. After looking into various options we redesigned the leading edge of the red lens to have a reflective surface built into it. Here is a look at the revised design now featuring the reflective lens.
