In the bed on a slide works for me. I'd like to keep the seats open in the cab. It's not a big deal to take the fridge out, but the slide will take a minute or two to get out.

What brand slide? I like it. Looks compact enough for any under tonneau setup.

It is an ARB slide. It did not fit under my tonneau cover with the 65l ARB zero fridge. The RSI cap took care of that problem. Sorry for the delay in responding.

I went with the fridge in the bed. I actually have the Iceco dual zone and the Ironman 4x4 fridge slide.

We should still have enough room for all of our stuff.

I'm thinking about putting wood down for my slides. How is it holding up.
I don't really want to drill in my bed.

That’s the same reason I went this route.

Its currently got a bit if mold but I also didn’t seal it as I didn’t know if I wanted to go this route or if I’d even like it.

I’ll pull it out and give it a light sand and seal or use some left over vinyl flooring.

Other than that, holding up great. I’m happy I can throw stuff back there and not worry about the damaging the bed.

And for a whole new spin on options !

How about in the bed raised up so can store under it and very easily accessed through side door in RSI or any caps! It’s a ARB 63 elements with parts of an ARB slide, I got the fridge and slide used from a member here for real good price including slide, wanted a smaller fridge but now realize I can fill it up quick, so very happy. Ratchet strap holds it down but planning on putting two or three Nutserts in bed and bolt it down. Have Zamp 100 watt solar panel on top with Genesis dual battery under hood works great for me. Side slider window opening is right above exhaust vent of fridge leave it open when it is hot out. Very happy with setup!….Jack

I like that idea also.
Might have to mock that up and see if my fridge will open in my Smart cap.

Mine does not open all the way and I took out the basket cause that would not come out. So height of wheel well and how close you can be to top of cap as RSI slopes down, Aluma cab doesn't me thinks. I also got the top of the refrigerator box with lid open even with bottom of window edge. I had the slide which cost me about $50, and put a 1"x1" angle mounted to side of bed as low to fender well as I could get.....Jack
Gary mine is an ARB Elements 63 fridge you could check specs and compare to yours also it yours opens that would be a game changer big time.

My 63qt ARB opens all of the way on the ARB slider, only when retracted inside the smart cap. When extended, the door will contact the opening. This is somewhat useful as it forces you to close the lid keeping your cool air in. That is my justification for it not being a perfect fit.

I bought the Fridge before the smart cap. Thought it would fit under the tonneau cover. When it didn't, I got the Smart Cap. It fit nice and opened all the way, but my wife had difficulties dragging it out from the rubber bed mat. I got the Slider without checking the measurements. It is so close to opening on the slider, with it extended, I even thought about removing the rubber bed mat.

I went with the cab for more room in the bed. I have the Goose Gear 40% seat delete and 50L National Luna fridge/freezer combo. it is a perfect fit behind the driver's seat. I have a 12 volt plug going back to the house battery in the Alu-Cab.

Does this fit with the seat all the way back? thanks Michael

Yes. The seat is all the way back but the back of the seat is in more of an upright position - I prefer it this way so it isn't a big deal for me but I know most people like the back of the seat to recline more than me.

I move the fridge around, but I tend to like it by the tailgate. I can get to it from outside or inside the camper.

How tall are you? I'm 5'10" and would be concerned about seat adjustments. Love this configuration.

I’m 6’ tall. The seat goes all the way back but I do not recline the seat very much.

I recently moved mine from the bed to the cab on a 40% Goose Gear seat delete. I could take a picture or just repost the one from @flipboltz. I have an Alu-Cab Camper and the fridge just took up too much space in the bed. We camp with a 50 pound husky mix and she sleeps in the bed so I had to set up a rear shelf above the fridge for her to have enough space. It was just too much back and forth with stuff in and out for different configurations.

I ran the wiring back to my house batteries so it's all still controlled by my Redarc power management system. I already had a 60 liter National Luna fridge which I was concerned would be problematic, but it's not. I'm 5'9" and can slide the seat back just far enough to be comfortable. For us, it's significantly more convenient having the fridge in the cab, and we can still take my daughter and her friend camping as they're both barely over 100 pounds and can fit in the two remaining seats in the rear.
