Yeah, it does make a difference. Proven in two of our Jeeps. HP is work over time so the faster you accomplish the work, the more fuel it takes. Move from a stop to normal speed fast and I can watch the fuel numbers drop on the cluster, but drive like my wife is with me, and my mpg stays higher. Makes a huge difference her being in the truck with me or not. The only difference, the one and only single difference is how I take off. The speed I get to is the same.The so called jack rabbit start is no longer an issue. The problem was carburetors with accelerator pumps and overly rich metering. EFI these days is much more economical with acceleration.
