Gladiator, Backup Camera, and 7 inch screen

Can someone show a picture of it filling the whole screen? I think many assume it does, but there are still black bars on each side.

Isn’t that the 8.4” screen? This is about the 7 screen.

Hitch zoom is only on max tow. 8.4" fills the screen.

I've got a hitch zoom, and mine doesn't have the max tow.

It is using the whole screen, as shown by the navigation icons in the corners. There is either a resolution mismatch with the camera, or a programming issue (or both), that is preventing the camera image from going edge to edge. It could be from a supplier change.

You are right. I assume it is the same with 7" screen where image fills up screen.

I posted early in the string that I have a full view. I never really noticed before, but I do have the 1/2” black margins on the sides. Sorry if I misled anyone.

I also have the hitch zoom. Mine is not the Max Tow (Max Tow is only available with the automatic transmission, didn’t want that). But I do have the regular factory tow package and factory installed hitch. Maybe that is why some have it and some don’t. No tow package=no need for the zoom.

If you look at HooliganActual's post a few back, you will note he has the full screen w/o black bars, and he also has the hitch zoom. But he has 8.4" radio, not 7".
