Threw in my vote. My 2022 Sport S diesel does not bottom out.
I even went over some pretty gnarly railroad tracks near my house to test it.
And this morning on the way to church I was on some of the rougher roads in town, so maybe Jeep got it figured out. My build date was around 12/14/2022.

Should throw up a photo of your shock tower and post your spring tag part number. I've seen some photos of a new bump stop collar and would've curious.
My rubicon was an eoy 2021 delivery and still does it.

almost looks like the bumpstop tower that holds the bumpstop and new cup may be shorter, like a non diesel model.

Thanks Bananaman!!! Great Pics!! How many inches between the yellow bump stop and the pad below? Is the distance from the black steel bumpstop holder to the end of the yellow bumpstop about 1 inch?

I'll try to get those today sometime. My wife keeps "borrowing" my new Jeep!

Mine bottomed out on dips. I fixed that problem with a MOPAR lift and a 3/4 inch front spacer.

Any update? Would also be nice to know the distance between the bottom plate and where it actually contacts the metal up top. Mine is like 2 inches, but in your pic it looks to be a much bigger gap.

So about 2" from bottom to bump stop and 3 1/4" from bottom to metal lip holding the cup and stop. Also, I think I said my build date was mid December but that was a brain fart. Build date was 1/22/2022

So i'm a little confused. From some previous posts the measurement was 4.75" from metal to metal as shown here; EDIT: Scratch that, this measurement is with a Mopar Lift

sounds like stock this measurement from metal to metal is 2-5/8"

But now banana is showing 3.25" metal to metal with the new bumpstop here:

Right.
- Stock 2021's have ~2 5/8 uptravel to the metal lip
- Mopar lifted 2021's have ~4.75

Interesting that 2022's have 3.25", with the same spring and shock part numbers as 2021's. How'd FCA come up with the extra .5"? Coil tower length? that was proported to be measured 1.25" different between Gas and Diesel JT's, so don't think they changed that, unless they now have THREE different lengths of coil towers.

Mystery continues.

I still think ~4" of uptravel (e.g. lifted) is the real fix.
