How does the dealer have such a different set of info from everyone else?
None of this is confidence inspiring.

LOL - I'm not sure... I don't believe Jeep Chat has access to the same systems as the dealer. I'm not complaining, it's only been four weeks for me.

I actually don’t use that drop down. I use the New Vehicle information and dealer locate one.

I think 2021 order books are closed if the posts I've read today are true. There will be a few months I'm assuming for them to finish up the trucks for people like me that have been waiting since June and July.

July 5: ordered
July 8: VIN assigned
July 21: given a build date of 8/8, Jeep chat states all parts are gathered and Jeep is in line for assembly
July 30: Jeep Wave emails me saying that my Jeep should arrive at the dealer no later than 10/16
August 9: Jeep chat says that they are still gathering parts... Dealer has no idea what happened except that the Jeep was not built...
August 20: Jeep chat tells me that all parts are gathered and Jeep is in line for build. The dealer also states that the expected build date is 9/13
September 13: Jeep was built
September 16: Jeep was shipped
September 23: Jeep arrived in GA's railyard

Dealer says it can take up to 10 days from that point. I see the light at the end of the tunnel!!! Hopefully I can pick it up next week. It's only a short uber ride.

Flew to Atlanta, Thursday. Was at Mall of Georgia by 9:30am Friday, did walk through with Mike Clinnin at 11:00am,then with finance. Drove off at 1:00pm. Was the smoothest vehicle purchase I ever had. Ended up 13% below MSRP with the $1,500.00 rebate that was still in effect. Whoo Hoo!!!!
