For what it’s worth, my dealer was able to change my order after the fact to pull off the gorilla glass. So, if you’re still wanting that bumper, you could check if they can append the order with the addition. I’m assuming your order is still in scheduling just like EVERYONE ELSE.

I’m sure it’s still in scheduling. I go back and forth on adding it. I can just add an aftermarket bumper but I see spring rates are different if ordering steel bumpers. Does anyone know if the front springs also change w/ diesel vs diesel + steel bumper?

Someone posted earlier that a '22 Gobi JT was listed on Autotrader (not actually delivered yet) I looked last night & there were 5 or 6 on there. Hopefully many (ALL) of us will move forward in production Soon.

Got an email from my dealer on Monday with my VIN. the last time I ordered a JT (october 2021) i had my vehicle within 6 weeks of my VIN getting assigned. So let's hope!

Everything i wanted (from the factory), nothing I don't. I'll add my own leather as the only factory leather color I like (dark saddle) is overland and rubicon only. Katzkin offers a ton of colors, but i really like baseball glove leather color leather so i'll probably be boring and get that.

My coworker ordered his Gladiator about the same time I did, equipped the same except I added the front trail cam, and his is granite crystal. His is at the dealership waiting to be picked up.
So I'd say the production by color theory is pretty probable

my buddy works at a local bmw suv/car factory and they definitely do make cars in batches of specific colors. it must take a while to clean up the paint area for a new color run. ordering my gobi rubicon today!

So, I’ve been watching my region’s rebates too, and we have a couple but mainly select inventor. I’ll note that your “Midwest” region isn’t actually giving a rebate on “every model”, but many have it. Imo, Chrysler poorly defined region names as Nebraska is more Midwest than Illinois, but it’s referred to as the Denver region. still, I really don’t care what they call my region. As irrational as the car market has been, I almost expect them to raise prices across the board by $2k and then create a $2.5k rebate to stimulate the then lagging sales. Such a scenario would be a boon for those of us with inbound price locked orders. time will only tell.
