Factory steps can be a good option for several reasons. They’re cheap, they work good, and the quality is good.Congrats. Like others have said, drive it for a bit. Look at others you see and go from there. If some lights and spacers will give you the look you're going for, then I say go fort it. It's yours and everyone's taste is different. That should give you a nice base to go from. I ended up with adding a set of factory side steps. I like them better, I don't have to step in one location and don't have to worry about rust out here in the Midwest
Is there another truck? Oh, yeah, those wannabesNo shit. How many of them are convertible? This whole "JeEp sHoULd oNLy bE uSeD oFf-roAd" shtick is tiring. You're stating something that is 1. Obvious, and 2. Contributes nothing to the conversation because he already owns the truck.
Go climb some rocks
The best after market product I have added is the softopper and rack. Keeping everything dry and hidden from view is huge. Keeping the Utah red dust out of your gear is priceless. The only combination I’m aware of fitting is the softopper and the Datin Fab rack that fits over itHi all,
After years of waiting I finally got the Gladiator I've been wanting since they were introduced. A week ago I bought a dark gray Mojave X. Since '21 every year the mantra (on youtube at least) has been "wait until next year" and when 25's were announced and I saw there weren't any real changes I went ahead and got one. I went with Mojave instead of Rubicon because during the test drives the Mojave seemed smoother on the street and TBH I don't plan on doing any off roading - the pejorative mall crawler.
I've just been tooling around getting used to being up high and whatnot coming from a slammed sports car background. I'm going to an off-road shop today for a Berliner and side steps and maybe seat covers. What other mods would you all recommend? I was thinking maybe spacers to make it feel more planted and maybe a cat-back because I am used to some rumble, and maybe some of those lights that sit in front of the A pillars, or a light bar attached to the front bumper? Suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.
I owned a GMC Canyon, what a miserable experience. My Jeep rides smoother, handles better, gets better fuel mileage, and is more reliable. Sure maybe there are some other better options but forget that my Overland shines chewing up pavement all day long every day.I do climb rock with my gladiator. That’s why I bought a truck with the with the solid front axle. A jeep is made to be off-road. That’s where it shines. Everywhere else it gets bested by a standard suspension truck.
That is awesome! Enjoy your new ride and the adventures!Hi all,

Agreed, I bought mine for a number of reasons but the main one is how it looks....frankly all the other mid size trucks look like each other. I also wanted a vehicle where you actually have to be involved in the driving. If one doesn't find these things fun to drive on or off road...then a Jeep isn't for them.No shit. I had a Canyon too...it was fine. After a few months of ownership, I don't think I ever really looked at it again.I really like the grab bar drop in storage tray and I also got an organizer for the center console.
Less necessary was an aftermarket antenna to get rid of the obnoxious whip that comes stock. I also got some sill guards to help just keep the sill area looking nicer longer. Scratched sills tend to bother me.

Well i mean i guess i drove it across a flat yard once so i guess i have done some off-roading. It handled that fairly well.
Seriously? C’mon man……. it’s the best & coolest convertible truck available. Anything with front wheel drive is B O R I N G as HELL!!!Nice truck, but if you’re only going to use it for a mall crawler, there’s a whole lot of better options that would handle street driving better. Anything with an IFS front end
