I have 2 686's. One is a 4" barrel. That was my duty gun when I worked on an armored car. And a 6" barrel. That was my first wifey's target gun. Both have trigger jobs on them.
That's too cool! I wound up buying a 6" GP100K a few years ago to shoot 1930's style full house 357 Mag handlods, didn't want to beat up a classic 686 that way. My Smith is a 4", handy pistol for sure.

I've got a few to many to pick favorites, but here are a few... I've been with Remington for 7 years, and until very recently was able to get employee pricing on Remington, AAC, Marlin, Bushmaster, DPMS, etc etc.... I'm glad I cashed in while I could!
I, also, have been on a bit of a shooting/buying hiatus with the Jeep getting built up...
Hand guns are fine, but none of mine just jump out as "special".

Marlin M1894, 38spl/357mag, Ti-Rant 45 can with fixed barrel spacer

Remington Tac-14, with my personal upgrades - home made "birds head" grip, 1950s era corn cob fore arm, stripped finish and the perfect amount of rust.

AAC 12.5" SBR (300BLK), with 762-SD can. (binary trigger, too).

CZ Hammer classic, overall my favorite shotgun. Brand new gun looks like grandpa's, but has 30" modern steel barrels, screw in chokes, and fully functional exposed hammers.

Maybe if I get 20 "likes" I'll post some more :CWL:
A dinosaur gun/can has been on my list for a while. My dad had a .444 marlin when I was growing up, loved that gun. Need a modern SS one with a suppressor now. It's really the only type of gun I'm missing.

Finally got a chance to break in the 17 WSM over the weekend. Heading to SD for a Prairie dog hunt in July.
<snip>
Need to get the other rifles broken in now (224 Valkyrie (AR 15), <snip>
I have a couple buddies that do the prairie dog deal in MT. Last year they set up a camera and were suppressed. Good time was had by all. Except for the rodents of the prairie.

I has one of those! Guess which one? :D It's an older pic; I have a Luth-AR stock on it now.

The bottom is my $400 truck gun I built over the past year (lost track of time when I started collecting parts).

I wish .224 was a bit cheaper... but it's so much fun to shoot.

My 1920 LC Smith 16 ga Ideal Featherweight that I picked up for $400 cash value some years ago.

Getting that gobbler to get within range for the low powered #6's proved to be a challenge and a lesson in patience and perseverance.
I could've smoked him an hour sooner with the Benelli, but he finally made the lethal move and I whacked him at about ten yards.
