My friend/coworker ordered a Wrangler JLU for his wife in May. In June he ordered a Durango for himself. We are in Ohio, 500 miles away. My next jeep will be through Gupton. They are the real deal.

Also, I modified his temp tag "jeep wave" for him...

And the modification...

Waiting on my Gupton order to arrive. I know im getting a good deal on it but im curious what your experiences have been with their in-house financing? Are they able to get you good rates? Any idea what banks they are working with? Thanks!

Picked up my Sport S on 10/4. Best experience ever. I will not purchase anywhere else.
I brought my own financing from credit union.
Since I live in TN taxes were no issue and they just transferred the plates from my Compass. #goVols

Of course the day I place my order and deposit, prices on all the options raise $100-$150, and now checking back on the website and other build sheets, the prices are back to normal... What are the chances Gupton will give me the discounts?

Prices increased and the Jeep website doesn’t reflect the increased pricing for the options. The dealer has the most up to date pricing.

Got it, I vaguely remember the website reflecting the price increases, as when I submitted my PDF to Gupton, the prices reflected higher, or else the number would have surprised me. Not a huge difference, more just me being curious. Glad I ordered from Gupton, hearing a horror story over in the What Step are you in for another dealer.

They work with all the big reputable lenders. They set me up with Chase at a little over 3% last year. Of course the rates are different now but that gives you an idea of how competitive they are. It's worth it for the extra 1% off the OTD price.

They actually beat my pre-approved rate in hand from my bank with TD Bank - it was a no brainer to take that as well as the extra 1% off invoice.
The only caveat is there is a payoff fee within the first 6-9 months (can’t remember).

Gupton requires at least 75% of MSRP be financed with a minimum of 8 payments made to get the 1%. This ensures the interest paid is greater than the 1% discount if paying off the loan in month 9.

Example:
$60K MSRP * 75% = $45K financed
$45K * 4.5% for 60 months
~ $1300 in interest over 8 months

A lot of them say you have to wait X amount of time to payoff early or refinance but in a lot of cases if you refinance or payoff before the time frame they say it only prevents the dealer from getting whatever rebate they get. They always tell you you can’t so they get their kickback.
