Yeah 100%. The more risk you carry, the less you pay up front. Mostly throwing it out there as an anecdote that not all carriers have your back.And the latter is why they were the cheapest.
here's a great article - and it actually applies to most carriers - they DO cover the vehicle about the same as your own insurance would, except they don't cover "acts of God".
So if they damage it in transport - their insurance covers it - unless it's tornado, flooding, etc.

The above is exactly how any carrier I've known or had information on does it - the vehicle - "cargo" is covered. IF they damage it - they do just what our own insurance would do.
