Yeah, I looked at all this..... Yikes. Went a different route...

Spent about $50, and took an hour of my time.

Buy these :

Zip tie in camera to grill, run hot wire to fusebox and tap into cigarette lighter fuse, run ground to any ground under hood, download app to phone or iPad. Simple. Works fantastic. Took an hour at most and was simple. Good luck guys!!

I see some posts mentioning that the CVPM has to be programmed and that the camera will be bound to VIN. Is this true?
My understanding is that CVPM is just a video switch, controlled remotely via CAN-IHS, and the only thing that needs programming is the main computer, so it knows that CVPM is present.
Also, since adding Trail Cam option (XNY) to dealer's VIN database is almost impossible, I understand that I will have to program every time they reset my car's configuration, correct? Does that happen often?
There is no VIN tie. You only change BCM settings for the trailcam, nothing else. If dealer resets your BCM config, just add the settings back. Takes 1 minute.

Just make sure you get the correct CVPM for your model year.

Thanks for confirming. Yes, I got the correct CVPM. Is there a separate post explaining how to change BCM settings (in general, in case I want to change something else :)) or should I just follow Jimmy's post in this thread?

Also, can I read my BCM settings (to make backup for example)?
Where can I find all possible settings for my vehicle (like VehConfig 8 off road camera present)?

Sorry for all the questions, but I am new to Jeep.

Yes AlfaOBD allows for a backup.

I think this is what you are looking for. Look at Step #6 on the document.

You can also reference my thread:

It's long and other guys had great ideas in it that had everyone moving the CVPM to a better place rather than factory.

The install is much more simple now that people have been bypassing the OEM CVPM location.

Some cliff notes for future readers:

1. Put the CVPM in the Wrangler location. You'll need Wrangler parts that @Alc discovered OR put it under the front passenger seat using your own skill. Putting it in the factory Gladiator location is a complete waste of time, resources, and sanity. POINTLESS.

2. Adjust the video cable lengths given this new CVPM mount location and tell @Jimmy07 where you put it. Pay him for the harness. It's easier than doing it yourself.

3. If you have factory INSTALLED Aux switches tell Jimmy this and power the CVPM with your passenger kickpanel ignition Aux lead. If not use Jimmy's way which is a fuse piggyback at the PDC....firewall penetration required. Tell @Jimmy07 the CVPM location and where you will power the CVPM. You will ground it at the stud in the front passenger kick panel. You will hit the CAN bus under the glovebox. Jimmy will just need to know where you intend to grab power. Pay the man.

4. For the front cam cable....use 2 cables. 1 short one that is enough to clear the grille. Male / Female that one in an accessible spot so you can take the grille off easily in the future. Auto trans....use the driver firewall empty clutch grommet for the camera cable. Manual..... find a penetration.

5. SO MANY variations with washer hoses. Read the threads. The 3.6 V6 USA Gladiator is the most documented. Diesels and non US Gladiators are different.

No one is going to make a kit for this as it isn't one size fits all. Different CVPMs based on year, different washer hose setups based on 3.0 vs 3.6 OR USA vs Australia etc, different transmissions and needs of firewall penetrations, different personal wants and needs of camera cable disconnects, CVPM location preferences.... @AllMoparParts.com imagine kitting this!

That said everything has been covered.
I hereby confirm that I’ve installed the front cam including washer to my GCC spec(Dubai) 2022 Mojave(Sand Runner) by using your part list and @Jimmy07’s cable.

Only thing that I’ve done different is that I’ve used Quadfratec power adapter to power the CVPM up

I have the Lasfit aftermarket AUX switches which utilize a piggyback plug at the cig lighter. Is that an issue with this install? I've read through the pages but did not find the answer.

Quadfratec power adapter that I use to power up the CVPM also connects to the cig lighter.I’ve been using it without any problem.

Why even post here???? Of course there are alternatives and this is for people that want to add the factory trail cam hence the title.

So I have all the parts ready to go. The one question I do have is about the washer hose section I have highlighted. I have hose 7 from the diagram, but is the section in red already there or another part that needs to be purchased. Hose 7 does not connect to the pump, so trying to figure out where/what it attaches to on the reservoir side.

It goes to part 7 it pushes in as you squeeze 7 connector.

I figured I’d start a new writeup for the integrated trail camera system, so everything is in the first couple of posts, and I’ll edit these initial posts as needed if new/updated info comes along. I realize some of this is redundant, but it will all be in one spot instead of spread out through several pages.

To get the factory front trail camera and washer to work, it is an entire system that consists of: front trail cam, washer parts and pump, CVPM (central vision processing module), wiring, software to tell the BCM to use the system, and rear camera (no, you can not use your existing rear camera). The CVPM is the centerpiece of the system, and processes the camera images, sends them to the display, and sends the wash command. It needs a connector (which won’t be present) that supplies ignition power, ground, and wiring to the CAN IHS block to bring it online. It receives the front and rear camera inputs via coax cable, and sends the images to the display via coax cable. It’s location is on the back wall, behind the subwoofer (if equipped). Here’s a few images of it I grabbed from the other thread. Note the location of the CAN IHS junction block that the CVPM will connect to-

Here’s the list of all the OEM parts needed. If I missed any, let me know, and I will update the list as needed:

Front camera- 68436466AA
Front camera bracket- 68396626AB
(2) Camera bracket nut- 06510197AA
(2) camera bracket screw- 68090949AA
Camera grille section- 6QN24RXFAC
CVPM- 68329740AE
(2) CVPM bolts- 06104378AA
(2) CVPM snap nut- 06506955AA
Camera washer hose- 68370828AA
Camera washer nozzle- 68370210AA
Washer nozzle elbow- 68370825AA
Washer Pump- 68310928AA
There is a different part number for the washer pump jumper harness, but I don’t think it’s necessary since the wiring is the same except for one different colored wire. @bryanklay will confirm, and I’ll update this.
Rear camera:
Gator- 6NN98VGVAD
White- 6NN98GW7AD
Granite Chrystal- 6NN98LAUAD
Gobi- 6NN98RUAAD
Red- 6NN98MRCAD
Sting gray- 6NN98PDNAD
Black- 6NN98DX8AD
Billet silver- 6NN98JSCAD
Hydro blue- 6NN98MBJAD
Punkn- 6NN98SE4AD
I think this is what you are looking for. Look at Step #6 on the document.
I think this is what you are looking for. Look at Step #6 on the document.

Would there be one for the 2025 Mojave or would it be the same document?

Thanks,
