I Learned This Today - Thunderstorm Warning

My typical has been to plug in my phone and go, using Android Auto for just about everything.

I'll admit that I was a bit surprised and impressed when I went for a short ride today without the phone, and was alerted to some weather conditions.

Is this something that's going to go away after some point and I'll have to pay to keep it?

It's part of Sirius Guardian, which I think has a longer (5 years??) trial. I think it also has traffic announcements, though I almost always navigate via CarPlay so it's hard to say for sure.

Down here in Central Florida I get that storm popup about every day and half

Sirius TraveLink is the name of the "feature"... you get 5 years of it with the JT. The music part of SiriusXM is like 6 months.

This is on the 8.4 radio, no idea about the others...

We live in the Santa Ana Wind corridor in So Cal and get these frequently. They are always there an do not to my understanding go away.

Appomattox and the surrounding county's have been getting some bad weather this year.
