It's stories like this that make me miss the good ol' 4.0!

My 98 XJ still runs real nice
My wife and were just talking about how ours will sit for months and start right up every time! Iyt has no power, but it is super reliable.

IDK, but it seems like you could find a 3.6 in a junk yard and have someone throw it in for about $10k less.
But maybe things aren't that easy on these?

We still have our 05 TJ. Had to replace water pump last spring. Only repair. Not counting oil, filters, plugs, tires etc.. I can only hope to get half the service out of my Gladiator
