I look into it just to see if they updated anything and so far have not seen anything new. can always email them and ask too, i did a couple weeks ago just to see if they had any ETA and was told they did not.

Built JKUR to an F150 FX4, to my 2022 Mojave!
If you are thinking about a tune or forced induction, you need to check your ECM first. The one in the right of the picture, currently HAS NO TUNING SUPPORT.

The change is seen on late 21 models and not communicated or well documented. The dealer parts system does not even show this change has taken place..

Be nice if the mods made this a sticky😉

Any updates on this? I have an early 2022 and it has the one on the right. ☹

as far as im aware i have not seen any updates from them on it. can shoot hp tuners a email and see if you get a response.

So I emailed HPTuners a while back and they just simply said they can't speculate or comment on future updates/support. Anyone hear anything ?

Honestly, your best bet is investing* in the market, and by the time they unlock GPEC5 you can get a 392 swap.

*This is not actual advice, I’m not your personal finance advisor.

I don't have an immediate need for one - but I read up and it looks like some of the things i wanted to do like - sharpen throttle response, set the ESS to default to off (or disable entirely) reset/recalibrate speedo would be cool to do on the PCM without needing to get a Tazer and a pedal commander (both run about the same cost as hp tuners - figured instead of spending on the same things twice i could knock it out in one swoop). By the time they come out with support - someone will probably have a DIY hemi swap solution.

Speed, ESS, do not get set in the ECM. It happens in the BCM and the Tazer is a great tool. I would not touch the throttle on any trucking I don't have too. That contraption is full of pitfalls and is a discussion waiting to happen in a room with benches and gavels.

Would need programmed and new harness at min. And I’m not sure if anyone has yet?

Can’t we just buy a older car pcm and swap it in?
If it were that simple, the SC sellers would have done that long long ago.
There's a reason they don't sell their packaged with a PCM to just swap in.

I was in contact with HPtuner on the last day, exchanging emails re unlocking the GPEC5 for my Gladiator 2022; the following is the bottom line of the conversation:

I have seen a reply from the team that does state the security on these is a lot harder than normal, could even be we never support it.. as it seems that way.

Well there is that lol. IF you want more power there is always engine swaps. I am happy with the 3.6 as is.

If they can crack open John deere tractors, then with enough time the gpec5 will get opened, especially when it's used on more and more cars.
