2.5” front .75” rear spacer lift, 34” tires, front rubicon steel bumper with warn evo 10s. Thats it. And its a diesel (if that matters).
I wondered myself as my 21 JT Rubi has MoPar front steel bumper, Warn Winch, skid plate, etc. However; I don't see where these modifications will or would impart on the dynamics of the Jeep engineered crush zones. It is something I have wondered about myself and a great question to ask.....

Glad you are ok but you will feel it for a while. Be sure to do all the check ups the doctors want you to do. It takes awhile to know the full impact of the crash sometimes

When I got rear ended in my Power Wagon by a kid driving a Explorer. I didn't feel it until the second day. Woke up in the morning and went WTF!!! I hurt everywhere. The kid did $3,000 damage to my Power Wagon. Rear bumper, tail gate and the corner of one fender. The Explorer had to be towed. It was totaled. It bent in the middle. The doors could be opened. The kid climbed out the rear hatch claiming that his brakes failed. When I first seen him. He was sitting in the driver seat with his cell phone in his hand. He was texting and not paying attention.

I know with the AEV and Mopar steel front bumper, the are engineered for the front impact airbag sensors and frame horns. I will (if i can) share photos of my Jeep if possible. It was impressive how it held up.

Man, I'm really sorry and glad you're ok. And I believe the Gladiator hasn't been evaluated for front collisions. While it wasn't an NTSA study, it was a real study.

All the best

That’s a hell of an impact. Did your door open? It looks like it could have. That would speak volumes as to its safety.

I was able to open and close both front doors. Some movement and misalignment but still functioning.

its a fully boxed ladder frame. Winch plate may help a little in keeping the frame from wishboning but the extra height and frame was probably the biggest reason

glad you’re ok OP. IF the engine runs it’s worth quite a bit.
id snag the winch line, flat link and tonneau before the squish it

Glad to see you're okay, and that the other driver made it out okay, although a bit more for worse. Jeeps are built like tanks for the most part. I recall seeing an episode of Jay Leno's Garage where he went to a testing center where they had this big battering ram that raced down a track and T-boned a vehicle. It was a Gladiator and I was seriously impressed by the minimal damage to the vehicle. I buy Jeeps because of what they are and where they can go and I just enjoy the heck out of driving them. Having that kind of crash survivability is just icing on the cake.

Great to know that you are OK. Your respectful treatment of the other driver is commendable.
