Dunno about that. We've used Jeeps as daily drivers, cross-country vehicles, tow vehicles, and as real trucks for years and they are fine.If you aren't wheeling a Jeep... be honest... it's a shit vehicle by many metrics. But if you use it for what it's real aim is, it all comes out in the wash.
Biggest thing is wind noise - but when you stand up in the wind surrounded by flat panels, it's going to be noisy.
Otherwise, the ride is quite good, they tow great and make perfect winter vehicles.
