What's your take on added wind noise?

The Jeep itself is a wind magnet. After installing the snorkel I haven’t heard a significant increase in wind noise.

I definitely think the way to go is with the precleaner. Zero issues and zero CELs with this setup so far. Over 1000 miles, different speeds and tons of dirt so far.

Snorkel is on this week, man this thing looks good. I really dig the sound of precleaner with the windows down, and love that a closed window blocks most of the sound if need be.

Also…unless I have been getting a lot of tailwind all this week, I swear my mpg went up a little. Probably coincidence.

So I have had the same error as others here P04DB, hope I copied that down right. Anyhow we all knew AEV was working on it. Patrick just informed me Jeep issued a new TSB 18-003-23 that should take care of this issue. Apparently the CCV system was just a bit too sensitive. I plan to give it a couple weeks, then I'll hit up the dealer for the update. In the mean time, just turning the snorkel around has prevented the CEL. Great job following up AEV; excellent customer service.

For sure. AEV employs a few former Jeep people. So there's defiantly a strong connection.

Not bad at all. If I wasn't aware that the intended design application didn't have a gap I would have thought they designed the gap intentionally so that pebbles, mud and sticks could still easily be cleared off the fender come clean-up time.

If anyone gets TSB 18-023-23 done post your PCM software version they applied, it will be on your service work order. Eg. 68353396AH is what mine was updated to 2 weeks ago when my service dept updated my PCM for another issue.

It is so sad that AEV forgot about Europe:-(
In Europe JT is only available with EcoDiesel with Mojave hood.
This is so terrible…

It would be just better design if it will fit mojave hood, low and high fenders or aftermarket fenders, etc…
