The OP is only running 35s and came on here asking about a spacer lift and half the replies have him spending $6k plus on lift and tuned shocks (which is about what you need to exceed the stock mojave suspension with a spacer lift)? Apples and oranges. Will the truck with $6-10k in it be better IF the right combination of parts are added? Of course. Does he need all that for his use? Doesn't sound like it.

Good point. I am in the research/learning phase so more information and other folks experience is a good thing.

It's great to see all the high end parts that look cool but in the end it's a need to have vs. like to have. You are spot on with the USE comment.

That being said I will let the trail tell me what I need. I know I need some additional height and likely some additional protection underneath.

I really appreciate the information and experience folks have taken time to share.

Keep in coming. My current Jeep goal is to get back to Moab and do some harder trails earn a few more badges (at EJS) and create great memories. All of you are helping to make that happen.

I recently stayed at the Hoodoo. Good question on when to reserve. Likely a few months in advance.

A quick update. The first recommendation was using Metalcloak's 3.5 lift kit for the Mojave and keep the FOX shocks. I am worried the 35's will look odd so I will post asking for examples of 3 to 3.5 lifts and 35s. Something I might suffer with until ready for new tires.

Yesterday.
EJS always ends on Easter Sunday and starts the Saturday prior to Easter weekend. So April 12-20, 2025.
Trail registration should open in January I believe.

I've been wanting to get the AEV kit for my Mojave. Given that I have AutoLYNX disconnects and don't have to use AEVs bushings....any other subpar parts from the AEV spacer lift? I have the 8-inch version of the disconnects and they will get long enough for the lift.

I was running the same setup for just short of 3 years and loved everything except the rear swaybar link bushings at just past the 2 year mark. It didn't have the articulation that I have now but was still doing great with bfg ko2 37" on trails up to 7 or 8 rating ... with skids of course (most used was the hitch sk8d)

Ran that for about 3 months while selecting and ordering shocks (had hoped that I could get by without them)
With a medium to light weight setup, this drove horribly at freeway speeds (lots of oscillating up and down).

I will happily sell you those components if you want them (I won't ever use them again ... not even to run them temporarily for when my current shocks eventually need to be serviced ... i.e. it was that bad)

I’ll go against the grain, don’t do a spacer.

do a real lift, I’m a fan of the Aev 2.5” kit with 5100 shocks.

If you liked Moab you’ll be back and then be looking at better set ups, just do it.

I did spacers first and ripped them out 2 years later.

4 hose will not fill faster fyi you can only push x air down a hose. They may be more convenient to do all 4 but it’s not over all going to speed things up.

I agree to the real lift.

But I’ve proven that a four hose fills you up faster. With the same compressor, I went from 20 minutes to under 10 minutes. I no longer use that compressor, except as a backup or at home. Using co2 and a 4 hose, I’m airing up in 60 seconds total.

Are you sprinting from wheel to wheel or like most of the 4 hose comparisons are you not including the hose unrolling and rolling back up time? Assuming a quick connect hose on the co2 tank, instead of going to each wheel twice you're only going there once and with 0 hose management time. Obviously comparing CO2 to a compressor there's a huge time difference.
