I wish I had never done this. Terribly herky-jerky ride. Install was done by an authorized Magnuson dealer. Brought it back, they claim they got the updated tune for it and it was all good.

It's not.

Brought it back, and they basically shrugged it off like "oh well" not our problem. No one else will even touch it and getting an appointment is nearly impossible.

It seems standing by your work these days is a thing of the past. This jeep (Between people trying to steal it and vandalize it has been the biggest f'ng headache of any car i've owned. It is constantly in the shop for every damn thing and it is gone for a month at a time each time. Drove by the one shop and my jeep was just sitting in their yard for weeks. Total f'n joke.

Line X took SEVEN WEEKS to complete the spray on it. After my patience wore out I voiced my displeasure (politely) and was met with complete indifference after dropping $8500 on the spray job. I just don't get it. You'd think these people would cater to owners who can afford to drop $130k on a JT but that is clearly not the case. Guess I am venting here.

If anyone knows of a reputable JEEP shop in the Tampa Bay area, i'm all ears. It is funny how terribly they treat customers in times of plenty and even funnier when the economy tanks and they put out those warm/fuzzy commercials with their kids in them.

With all the issues you are having you might want to get your insurance up to speed and let them steal it...

Yeah, that's what i'm thinking. I've got to round up all my receipts this week and call Geico to see if they'll insure the after market parts. What a headache.

What's the issue? check engine lights? Car wont start etc. Magnuson took care of me big time so not sure how your having issues with them. Who did you contact at Magnuson? What email did you use?

I think @bleda2002 is in the area. Might be able to refer a decent shop in Tamp.

Talk to Ron at red Scorpion fabworks. They're the only local shop I'll let touch my ride. I don't know if he does super chargers but he should be able to get the rest of the jeep sorted and point you to who he trusts.

Make sure the installer used the LATEST ONLINE tuning instructions document from this Magnuson link: https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0...-c3e5-4044-9237-2da607ec3059.pdf?v=1657131402
Steps 21 and 36 were updated in a recent revision to require a read and write of TCM calibration.

They are still shipping an old version of these printed instructions in the box with the unit that says there is no TCM calibration and to turn off TCM calibration, which is absolutely wrong. I just received my kit 3 weeks ago and noticed this issue!

The installation instruction document also seems to be updated on a regular basis and the paper copy shipped with the unit is also way out of date. This is the link to the latest version: https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0511/7781/6216/files/89-89-61-037_RevN_Jeep_JL.pdf?v=1661811029

Ohhhh they are doing the TCM now.
Yes, I confirmed this with them before purchasing my kit. Then when I received it and saw the old instructions I was kind of pissed until I saw the update online.
