I have had my gladiator for a couple months now. I frequently hit the hazard lights button when shifting into third. It drives me insane. I won’t notice tapping it at times, and will notice my hazard lights are on.
Anyone else have this problem? Maybe it’s just me🤣

I saw the title and thought, "Finally! Someone else has the same issue." Then I actually read the post and, no, my problem is different. I probably have hit something while shifting but nothing to go blinky-blinky.

I occasionally have a hard shift into 3rd that started about a month ago around 30k miles. It just requires more effort than the other gears. I bought transmission fluid last week to drain and fill but it's just been too hot to perform the maintenance. Maybe next weekend.

Mine had a hard shift and grinding going into third when new. They tried repairing it. Wound up requiring a new transmission. Get it looked at before your warranty is up.

When I had my MT the same issue occurred with me. I gave up with it along with the clutch issues. In the past l always preferred the MT over the automatic. Now I'm good with the AT.

Speaking from experience, (Ive had my trans out 4 times now) If it seems to hang up going into gears, Re adjusting your cables usually takes care of this. Its a fairly easy procedure to look up. Its recommended after the trans has been removed, but occasionally I will just check mine for good measure. The cable shift setup sucks, and we all know the factory clutch is trash. I would totally buy a AT if I did it over. I also have tagged the hazard button on 3rd gear shift too.
