You‘re right, it’s high pressure fuel pump.
Heres the latest: I and the dealership have entered the Blame Game. The Service Tech claims there’s gasoline in my diesel fuel. A visit to the service bay and asking the tech “how did you determine there’s gas in the diesel?” He answered “By color and smell”.
Of course if that’s the case, it voids my warranty, and repair cost falls on me. I have the “chain of custody“ of my JT. I drove it 30 miles to town (no driving issues), went to Maverik
filled the tank with 15.3 gallons of diesel. Drove out of the station, got 200 yards and the truck lost power and stalled. Gasoline has not touched my Jeeps lips.
I demanded a fuel test. Friday is the day.
