I have been looking at various inflation set ups. Planning on getting the ARB twin ( I know others are cheaper but I have had ARB in the past and never had any issues). I really would be fine with doing 2 tires at a time but am looking at 4 as well. I have seen Thor's Lightning and EZ flate have manifold and line kits. Does anyone have any thoughts on if there is any significant difference between brands? Is there another brand to look at?
They are all about the same, I use Thor's Lightning and carry their set in both my Jeeps. I went with Thors mostly because they are here in Colorado and they are big supporters of the 4x4 community here. In my Gladiator I have my ARB twin mounted under the front passenger seat and wired to my Aux switches on the dash and added the ARB locker manifold so if I had a front locker to my Mojave down the road I just need to run the airline.

I didn’t feel like typing it all out again so here is the link to a previous post about my inflate/deflate setup.

Take a minute and read the whole post. Most people don’t realize the physics working against them with these multi-hose systems.
Just need to find and air compressor with the capability to feed a 1/2" outlet into a proper manifold. That's assuming most are running 1/4" feed lines to each tire.

Exactly, that’s where the real benefit will be seen.

Thanks everyone for the feedback. It seems the manifolds and hoses don't have a lot of difference between them. I also appreciate the physics. Wide variety of people on here and never hurts to drop a little knowledge. I think I will go with a 2 tire system for starters and see how I like that. I bought an 813 fabrication bed rail mount second hand, so will be mounting the ARB there. I will post the end result.

SAME - I love my Speedflate system - ARB twin located behind rear seat w/ air hose & on-off switch mounted behind the Grimm Off road 4xe cowl conversion kit. Don't even have to lift the hood - and the tires (Up/Down) all regulate to the exact same psi.
What size tires do you have? I run 40s and use 2 Viair compressors with 2 tanks to fill them up. But the whole thing is heavy and was thinking of swapping it to just the ARB twin conpressor.

It’s all just parts. I am building my own as we speak. 2 tire air up/down setup for somewhere around 70 bucks with digital gauge. Just waiting on my hose which should be here tomorrow.
I second this. I built my own as well using the parts I needed as I went. it's even more fun because now it's starting to evolve. I've added Pressure gauges to the dash, sensors, additional outlets, and tanks

Will it be a nightmare tracking down a leak? sure, but that's half the fun.... isn't it?

The "physics" for me is being down on my knees airing up one tire at a time is painful. It's much easier to plug in all four, grab a soda and talk to my buddies a for a few minutes, then go and uplug the cables. It's become an enjoyable break to chat with my friends after the ride while we air up.
Took the words right out of my mouth. Im not looking to win a race, I got the EZ Flate Auto with multi air set up and quick disconnects for the convenience at a fraction of the cost of ARB twin. It is significantly larger which is why its faster and I can set it and forget it, I can put mud flaps back on, have a drink, while I watch my buddy go from tire to tire. In fact, its so easy my 14 year old is in charge of it.

@Cptcoob I'm running 40's as well - super happy with the arb.

Nice, do you have a tank for the compressor also or do you only run the compressor? Where did you mount the compressor? If it’s in the cab is it loud enough to annoy you?

thank you

@Cptcoob Only the compressor - My shop mounted the arb twin behind the rear seat (driver's side) using this mount from 813 Fabrication. https://813fabrication.com/products...drivers-seat-arb-twin-single-compressor-mount. Uusally, it's just me and a couple buddies - during air up / down we're outside the Jeep.. so yeah, it'd be a little loud if you were to remain inside.. but it's not horrible. For the air hose connection and on / off switch they used the Grim Offroad 4XE charge port cowl conversion kit. Which I absolutely love - Don't even have to pop the hood.

I looked at these at EJS and could not come anywhere close to justifying the cost. A buddy built his own for about 1/8th the price, I'm going to get his parts list and go that route.
