Can anyone confirm AlfaOBD will work on the 22 gladiator?
Yea it works you have to go through the advanced connect menu and basically select all the options. It will try each of the connection protocols until it gets to the one that works.

Let me know if you have issues and I can go and grab a screen shot

@ecidiego or anyone else who has done this mod,

Have you run into any issues with the front camera going out? I've had it happen twice now (while off roading). The first time I thought I was able to fiddle with the power cable under the hood and get video back, but I think it was coincidence. This time I can't get video back at all. It just shows black with the yellow tire tread guide lines. So, the CVPM seems to be working. I also verified that I can unplug the power from the fuse block and then I get a blue screen with a camera system inoperative error message. The rear camera works fine. I'm starting to wonder if I have a bad camera, as the video connectors lock in tight so I doubt they popped loose...

Any ideas?

Do you know of any way to test the front camera??

It crossed my mind, but I wasn't sure if that would work. I'll give it a shot. Easy test...

Thanks again!

That work?
Yes and no. Your idea was a great one and it proved that the camera was just fine. Unfortunately I believe that does point to a bad fakra cable, specifically the long one that goes all the way back behind the back seat (and dreaded plastic cover). I think my mistake was not running the video cable through the firewall, as it was sketchy to try to get another wire through the existing grommet. Instead, I ran it with some power cables that I already had run for my under seat air compressor. Those go through the passenger drain plug hole, along the frame, and up to around the fuse box. It runs parallel to the exhaust up pipe, but like half a foot away. I'm suspicious that it was still too close and that the fakra cable is very sensitive...

So long story short, I think I'm either trying to figure out how to cut and crimp an end on a fakra cable somewhere by the passenger seat, where I can test hooking the camera up there and potentially add another fakra cable or I'm tearing out the stupid back seat and cover again...

Do you have a manual? If not just use the clutch grommet.

If you have to tear it out again just relocate the damn thing. Either that or run a 4' cable from CVPM to accessible under rear seat area, and junction there forward. Oh - and while you're at it - another connection between radiator support and front camera. Grille removal argggg!!!

I've had no issues but looking back, why did I feel like I had to put it in the OEM position?
I completely agree, more shorter fakra cables linked together to ease replacement. Why did they put the CVPM back there?!? I do not have a manual and remember you mentioning using the clutch grommet, but some reason I felt I needed to run it on the other side... I'll probably switch that up next time. I'm also tempted to put in a Goose Gear back wall, so I never have to deal with that stupid oem back wall again. I mean really they couldn't have just put screws on the thing?!?

Lessons learned...and it's a Jeep....so you have to redo modifications at least 2-3 times!
