The only thing we've seen burn someone ( happened to me ) is buying the wrong CVPM. So far it seems like only 2020 was unique.

For some sanity...I finished this 1.5 years ago. 0 issues. Do it right and it works.

I bought a 2023 Gladiator Rubicon EcoDiesel and negotiated the dealer throw in 90% of the parts for the front trail cam after reading these forums and them telling me it’s impossible. Before I begin, I have a few questions:
1. Is the “Billet Silver” rear camera listed above the same as “Silver Zenith”? If not, does anyone know the part number for Zenith Silver rear cam for this project?
2. Does the 2023MY use the same CVPM as the 2021/22?
3. After looking at the video above it appears the ecodiesel may have some interesting changes…like the fuse box is located in a different place and obviously has many different fuses. Has anyone done this mod on an ecodiesel and are there other changes I need to be aware of before I tear this thing apart?
@Alc Did you ever get this to work?

I got all the parts for 2023 and made the CVPM and CAN bus cables. Planning on installing it under the driver seat as I am contemplating adding other things under passenger seat.

@ecidiego I read through the 13 pages but I am still having hard time picturing what is happening with the washer pump and the wires.

Is the new pump replacing old one? Is it getting added to existing hose?

BTW thanks for documenting this.

the fuse box thing is only for powering the CVPM. You can power it however you want...just appropriately fuse the wire.

The ' OG ' guys like me installed this factory like. You don't need to.
I still have a TJ that I bought new 25 years ago. I am not young. LOL. I bought everything including the back trim panel.

I can make harnesses, run some wires as I am all for efficiency. I am planning on tapping into ignition powered OEM Aux output behind the glove box.

What I cannot visualize is the washer pump, plumbing and wiring at this point.

I have 2023 Rubicon diesel.

are those parts in the same place? ( washer reservoir ) driver side.....under the ECM?

IF SO...no need to visualize. Just buy the stuff and route it.

I just bought the Gladiator and have about 400 miles on it. I don't know how non diesel engine bay looks like. I barely remember what the engine bay looked like. ?

So that makes me curious, so one motor controls 2 different nozzels, the front cam and the windshield?

Already got most of the parts on the list. Seems like AlfaOBD shows that 2019+ Jeep Gladiators are supported so I guess I have everything but the front grill piece.
Will be installing it this weekend.

Please take pictures of your install for posterity! I’m still awaiting the parts from my dealership (they provide parts at no cost because it was part of the purchase deal)…going on 7 months now

my plan is to use the harness Jimmy built and see if I can figure out some alternate measurement to install the CVPM either in the front right passenger footwell or under the passenger seat as stated.

@ecidiego thanks for all the hard work and helping make this upgrade possible with this thread!

I guess the real challenge is the CVPM and the AlphaOBD compatibility for MY 2023.

The plan is to hook up everything on the passenger side with gator clips and test leads then change the BCM parameters and verify function before taking anything apart. Hope that won't take too long.

Making a few harnesses. Found 26 ga wires do well with these connectors.

All wired in and all parameters set via AlfaOBD Android version.

Did not get the washer part started yet.

So far so good as I was able to follow through all the instructions.

How long have yall waited before all the functions started working?
