With some people, you never know how they will react or behave.

I would think that they should be willing to accommodate you. It will be easier for them to move you into another truck than to completely unwind the deal.

After all, they are guilty of fraud. They sold, and promised to install, something that was not available to sell, and put it in writing.

They are reversing the deal! I have to buy from their lot... he's going to research the Rubicon to make sure I get one "that tows 7000 and that it has a hitch." He said he doesn't want to do this again. Now to see if I can afford it.

If it's a Rubicon with the 3.6 gas engine and automatic transmission.......... and the receiver/tow package, it will do 7,000 pounds.
If they have one without receiver, at least have them put it in - ideally no extra charge because you could go after them for fraud (by contacting your state's AG - and CA hates consumer fraud...... )
In my opinion, they should toss in some candy like extended warranty or something like that. I mean, they really messed up - and that word fraud keeps popping into my head. They can easily toss in some accessories, slush mats, whatever, because those are really cheap for them and it's the least they can do for, gee, there's that word - lying on paper, in writing.
