Have not had it off road yet but looking forward to it. I feel sure it will do well. Pulls excellent. It is the Pursue with the fridge and stove. Sleeps two, has air, heat and a power ventilator. Electric brakes are nice and all aluminum frame.
what powers the AC? battery, generator?

3,000 pounds and 6x10?

Is it made from deleted uranium?
not sure about deleted uranium. Sounds fancier than depleted uranium. :CWL:

I love my Jayco BH174 Baja, and If I didn't have a kid I would have the BH145 Baja. Great for extended stays and remote camping. I've been into places I had to chainsaw my way in and out. I like having a bathroom. I equipped mine with all solar and the ability to add fresh filtered water from lakes or streams. We just spent a week in the Sawtooths of Idaho and were ready for another week.

How off road capable is that jayco? I heard that many of those that say they are, fall apart rather quickly.

T@G Boondock with Timbren axel less suspension added. Also, propane heater added. I like cooking outside so the rear outside kitchen is perfect for me.

I like those tag and tabs. I would totally get one, but they are expensive. How do you like that axeless suspension? Is it worth the extra $?

But to get back to your original post which I effectively derailed by being thick, I have seen several cargo type trailers converted into tiny RV's.

I have an overhead clearance concern so they are a no-go for me, but one could be converted and made to serve the purpose.

I will say however short trailers can be pretty challenging to back up, and jack knife easily. I'd pay particular attention to the length of the tongue, and would consider an articulated hitch if I was going to use it offroad much.

The trailer tows SO MUCH BETTER with the Timbren axel less suspension. It no longer bounces all over the place. When I camp, I am almost always outside in a chair either by the fire, or reading a book, or looking at the stars. I like to cook outside anyway because it's easier and cleaner than cooking inside a camper. The T@G, once upgraded to include a propane furnace and the suspension, suits me well. There is like zero set up and take down but sleeping is both comfortable and safe.

I don’t do off road camping but a lot of people use these A Frame campers for off-roading. They even come with m/t tires and the Gladiator doesn’t even know it’s back there weighing in around 2100#
