Thank you for responding and reaching out.

Update to my previous post: I updated my Tazer Lite to the mini. Didn't even have to remove it. Didn't know you could do that until today. I did what Oracle said to do with the Tazer, regarding getting rid of the tail lights out message. Worked! No more warning. Now to get that reverse light taken care of.

Hello all, Have both the reverse lights and flush tail lights, replacing the halogens, installed using the harness and had issues with reverse lights going out, used jscan to change everything to LED, fixed it for a week, now having a weird issue with the reverse light on the left tail light on during normal driving conditions. See picture. Any idea how to resolved?

One thing I noticed about that harness is that it's really tight. You really have to crank on it with your hands and wiggle it around to get it to fully click in place. I know I thought mine were fully connected and found out I wasn't pushing hard enough to get it to fully seat in. (I bought those lights and the harness as well). I haven't had any issues with mine at all.

Thank you. I read that was an issue before I installed and was sure to do that and I did hear them click into place, maybe I'll go back and do it again. Not sure if that will affect the reverse light being on when it is not supposed to.

Hey Steven,

Definitely something going on with the way the JSCAN is set here. Go in and reboot to factory. Then, follow these instructions from the JSCAN site:

1. Go to Adaptation
2. Tap Search (Magnifying glass)
3. Type "diagnostics"
4. Disable "Diagnostics Present" for the tail lights

That worked. Still concerned about the reverse light that was on the left taillight during normal driving and was still there when I switched itto the right side but after messing with the harness it went away. If that comes back I would like a replacement light and harness. Shouldn’t have to deal with these types of issues on a new product if it’s not working properly.
Thank you

Broke a factory LED on the trail this week.

figured I’d spend a little more and get a pair of flush mounts and hopefully prevent this from happening again.

Installed them and got a “right turn signal out” message.

Came to the trusty forum to see how to clear the message.

Found this thread. Submitted the form. Regret not buying a OEM replacement.

Wish I had seen this earlier. Could have saved me a ton of hassle.

If you have a Known issue with a product, stop selling until the problem is resolved. Useless. Looking at you @ORACLElights

First, I like the look of these and that is why I purchased them.
So I will tell my story with my issues. I was on the pre-order list for the flush mount tail lights. Saw many posts about the light out message. So I waited to install. Then I was able to purchase a Tazer and I went ahead and bought the reverse lights in the bumper w/plug n play harness. I installed both tail lights and bumper lights. First issue, driver side reverse lamp in the flush mount light not working when in reverse. I did the tazer led off/on, did a tazer reboot. Still have issue. I then remove the plug n play harness and reverse light comes on. I put plug n play harness back on, same issue. No driver side tail light. Passenger side and bumper lights work. So I opened case with Oracle. Their response:
1. Buy another plug n play harness for passenger side. Not sure how this fixes drivers side.
2. Remove plug n play harness and wire direct. No mention of refund or send me a replacement.
3. Remove plug n play harness and wire into trail light wires No mention of refund for my plug n play harness.
I responded that neither of those will fix my current issue with the plug n play harness. So I left the harness on and bumper lights hooked up until I maybe hear more back.
Now, I get message that my blind spot detectors have issue, see dealer. Blind spot detectors are working though as I verified by driving next to other vehicles. So I removed plug n play harness leaving the bumper reverse lights not connected. Message goes away and tail light reverse working on both sides. So this morning, I had to turn on the hazard lights. While at the back of the Jeep, I notice the hazard lights blink at different rates than the other. Both are off beat with each other.
@ORACLElights or JP, what now with these things?

Harness lol... I got mine it was too short, Oracle response was that the early units were too short... No mention of exchanging it for the correct length version...
Since I bought it "new" from another member I didn't push it but ya, I hear you...
Been holding on to my factory LEDs just for these comments, scares the shit out of me.
On the plus side I've been luck with mine (or maybe I just don't know since it's in the back). No more codes after tazer.

I've had the same issue, just the left reverse staying on all the time. Discovered this when I was stuck in traffic at night and apparently blinding the car behind me. It's not an all the time issue, but now that I'm aware of it I have seen it happen now on a couple occasions. I'll reseat the connector to see if that helps.

Also I still time to time get the turn signal out msg even after doing the correct steps with my Tazer. If it does happen, usually after a couple minutes it I guess "resets" and isn't an issue again.

All of these problems with their product really justifies reporting to the Better Business Bureau. Oracle is basically lying and ripping off their customers which is substandard product and perhaps hitting them with appropriate BBB complaints might make a difference.

These are coming off. Also not working, the driver side tail lamp does not come on with lights. Brakes and turn signal works, but no lights. I can't drive w/o night time lights.

In some cases with some Jeeps, you just can't use the P&P harness because of the way that harness combines both bumper lights to one tail. The current draw is just too much for one side in some cases. Again, some Jeeps don't have an issue with this, others do.

In your case, there's only 2 things you can do here, both of which include eliminating the harness.

1. Do a second P&P harness or tap them in to split them across both tails
2. Take the bumper lights off the tails completely and tap into the reverse feed on the 7-Pin Trailer Tow harness in the bumper.

This is why you were offered another P&P harness to split them, since we understand most of the Jeep community has a negative perception of using T-Taps.

We don't just jump to offering people refunds. Noone does. What we want to do is try to work with the customer and offer options that will actually solve the issue.

If you bought your kit direct from ORACLE, PM me your order info and i'll work on accommodating you for the harness.
