Still don't like the new grill, I'll be interested to hear what the percentage of cooling increase it provides though. Figured they would have touted it in the press release if it was very significant.

Some say, from what I've read, that the 2.0 needs more cooling...... if what I read in the Wrangler forums is correct, this could be one explanation as they move toward more small, turbo-charged engines and expand the 4xe line-up.
Just "guessing" - don't hold me to that, I'm going by what others with the 2.0 have said "it needs better cooling".
We've not had our 2.0 in hot weather, it's only been driven in 70 degree temperatures since we bought it in January (and that was in Florida) so I can't say how it would respond when we get to 100 here this summer.

The price will be insane.

And they aren't already now for what they are? 71K for ours. when I was looking the 392s were up there in the 80-90 range. That's not insane? (Especially when those were not so well equipped as the new ones will be.......)

I was going to suggest then that they must be like 3/4 ton trucks I've had.
Pull 6 or 8 bolts and the axle slides right out. The end of the axle - the flange, has a gasket, or seal, to keep the lube in.
Fronts are not lubed that way. They are sealed in the hub. And they last a very long time. There's a lot of stress on the fronts from turning, curves, etc.. Doable.
I've also worked on rears that had the bearings packed and a seal on either side. they'd go easily 100,000 miles. So I know from experience with those it's possible to have 2 bearings back there, sealed and isolated from the lube in the housing.

There's already 2 different ones......... cabins are different and on different lines.
Maybe you mean different dashes?
The seats won't matter - that will be wiring harnesses.

That's very different from the ones I'm used to. Looks like to replace the axle shaft itself you have to remove the hub?I don't see how it bolts externally to the hub. Looks spline driven, unlike a Ford or some others that bolted to the hub and could be unbolted and slid right out without removing anything but a handful of bolts.
Almost looks like it's made like a front hub.
Can't wait to get my hands on the details, even to look at/inside one. But that picture doesn't totally impress me, sorry.
That hub assembly bolts to the end of the axle tube - and there's an o-ring seal between the axle housing and hub and it does look like a seal by the bearings when I magnify the picture. Hard to see for sure, though. But that hub does bolt to the axle tube and there's an o-ring, watch for leaks LOL (hope not, hope I'm joking, messing around)

Before reading this I was thinking that I really wish I liked the new Grill. I want to like the new Grill. Your mere mention of angry eyes (not mentioned but I also thought of Grumper) and suddenly my brain thought NEW GRILL IS AWESOME.

When I had my F250 years ago, the antenna was that "back the heck out of here, stop what you're doing" signal for me. I loaned that truck to my son one day - he worked in Des Moines and parked in the ramp near his office and he about freaked putting that thing in the parking ramp.
I told him - just don't go fast, that's how Max Headroom came to be.....

I'd still take one if I needed one, but told my wife "we're done buying Jeeps for a while now" (fingers crossed thinking unless there's something major with the JT in the future)

I just herd that Jeep is killing the antenna on the cowl and putting it in the front windshield for 2024.
Because the antenna gets caught in trees.

Apparently no one noticed that in the past 70 years?

So instead of a cheap antenna and windshield replacement found in any small town; now it will be an expensive hard to find windshield replacement.

Way to go marketing money makers!

Why? Why will it be hard to find and expensive?
Again, they are decades behind other companies, and windshields can be found pretty easily. Once this becomes more mainstream, it will be just as easy as any other Jeep glass, which is frankly, pretty simple. Never had a problem yet.
And that's what insurance is for.

I don't get the resistance people have to something like this that should have been from the beginning of the JL 5 years ago.
Likely this will make it to the JT (why not? Same glass) and will be common fairly soon.

Its classic whip antenna.

It still has AM/FM radio, but the antenna has been integrated into the windshield where it can't get caught on low-hanging branches off-road or in car wash brushes after a dirty day in the woods.

Yeah, I've had mine caught in those stupid car washes - it also partially ripped off one of my mud flaps. I'll never use another one of those again.

I love their last sentence - yes, it adds up to "finally" and "better". Other companies did this decades ago - I think Jeep kept it for the old-skool Jeep look and for no other reason.

We had our '19 JLUR 2.0T eTorque since new and have had zero cooling issues; even when dragging a 3500 Silverado up the beach and my tires were NOT aired down lol

Magic eraser? Probably taken with a Google Pixel 7 and got rid of the driver.

Still doesn't explain why it shows both diffs locked and the sway bar disconnected at 68mph.
