The majority of drivers don't know how to check tire pressure with a gauge at the tire let alone change oil. The dealer service centers will never go away because the typical American doesn't want to work on their vehicle and will happily pay for someone else to do it and they'll likely just take it to the dealer out of habit.

But that doesn't mean the the rest of us don't want to or can't. Trying to scare politicians and the general public into compliance because Farley is answering to shareholders... well, I'm a Ford shareholder and I want to keep working on my own vehicle. It's just like the farmers and John Deere. Right to repair.

will never comply, lof, maintenance, ect is on me and anything else will go to my independent shop who i trust and have very little come back, stealer could never even fix rearend after 5 or 6 times i fixed it with quality axles... as a used car dealer we never ever send stuff to dealer its never fixed correctly plus cost triple i always use independent shops the tecs are older and better with more common sense... just my opinion from my experiences
