Got the King shocks ready for install tomorrow. Removed the plastic shaft protectors because 3 of them were broke in the box. Replaced them with a 2.5" boots. Got the shocks compressed to 25" to make it easier for install.

Got the rear King shocks installed.

Have the adjustments set in the middle for now. Can tell the difference between the Bilstein 5100's and the Kings. The 5100's are harsh over small bumps. And kind of blow through on the big bumps. The King's float over the small bumps and soak up the big bumps. That's the difference between a budget shock and a high end shock.

I had custom valve Kings on my Power Wagon and loved them on it. Hoping for the same with these.

To install the King's. You have to trim the inner fender both front and rear.

On the rear lower shock bolt. A quick heads up. Use the oem bolts. If you have changed from the metric oem bolts to the larger SAE bolts that come with aftermarket lower shock skid plates. The SAE bolts won't fit in the lower shock eye. You have to use the oem bolts.

My 7 pin trailer plug adapter, cable adapter for the Noco battery charger, and 20ft of cable came in. Now I can either charge the battery or power something through the trailer plug.

That is a nice setup. I have a NOCO Genius 5 and like it a lot but their unique connection method leaves a lot to be desired. I have found and bought from AliExpress some extension cables and pigtails to avoid the SAE adaptors.

Also, their red wire bleaches pretty quick in UV sunlight and use Tessa Tape wrap for those.

Just to confirm, these are the 2.5” shock body?

Yep, 2.5" with remote reservoirs, and adjustable compression.

Have the front set at 8 from full soft. 20 total. Rear set 11 from full soft. 26 total. Rides really nice on the street.

Got full travel from the King shocks. Just under 29" in the front, and just over 30" in the rear. The distance from ground to top of pallet was 32".

Need longer brake lines. Which I have. Those are going on this weekend. The rear are pulled really tight.

I got to get the shorty winch bumper on. The tire was pushing the bumper forward.
