Synergy, Steersmarts, JKS, and Metalcloak.

Who’s got one on their rig and how is it so far?

I’ve recently been in contact with Synergy MFG and they stated that 8869-24 will be the newly updated sector shaft brace for the JT as the previous revisions required a bit of grinding by the coil towers in order to fit properly.

I’m going to be looking to add one soon, and between Synergy and Steersmarts, they seem to be on par with one another aside from the finished coating.

Living in CT, winters definitely aren’t good for any type of powder coating.

Let me know your inputs. I am definitely leaning towards Synergy though.

I have had the steer smarts brace on for a year + and more than 20k miles.
It helps a TON with the frame flex… no complaints. Lock tight the two smaller bolts that connect to the sector shaft portion and you will be set.

Ran a ton of synergy stuff on our JKu, quality parts as well. Pretty comparable. Which ever you can get a better price on would likely be my choice. 👍🏼🍺

I have a yeti on my rubi from the previous owners and its been solid. Not sure why they added the truck is otherwise stock and drives fine. I haven't put one on my Mojave yet as it doesn't need it. I'll install the MC one when i finally lift it though.

I’m thinking of the Synergy one for my JT.

I have the Steersmarts brace. Been on for almost 55,000 miles, over 2 years plus winter road salt. When I installed it. I put a lot of anti-seize on the inside of bushing and the outside of the new sector shaft nut. Have no issues with it.

I have the Synergy with the sealed bearing. Drives like it's on rails.

I have the Metalcloack. I've had it on for about 48,000 miles and have no issues with it. And between offroading, rock crawling, and towing, my jeep puts in a lot of work.

I have purchased many Synergy products and they serve me well. Poly Performance is my supplier as they are very close to Synergy.

Running steersmarts on my Mojave. The updated revisions of these brackets fit without any modifications.

Mine. Made a very noticeable improvement for handling and feel. Don't have anything other experiences to compare it to but I'd recommend it.
