Dealer said that it was announced that parts are now available for the CP4.2 recall.
Anyone know what the fix is?
Has anyone heard if the stop sale is lifted?
Wouldn't they fix the trucks already built at the dealers and in Toledo first?
My dealer and we checked one more said the fix was in but didnt know what it was.
Or are they still stringing us out with more lies?

Anyone know what the fix is?
It's a minimum HPFP replacement and then an inspection of the rest of the fuel system and replace as necessary if needed.

Thats what the recall fixes for an existing unit and that has been in place all along. They have been under federal safety recall with a "No sale" attached on new ones for 6 months. They cant just say we will fix it if it breaks! They need a permanent fix. On the Cummins motors, they went back to CP3s. They retrofitted my 2019 ram from a CP4.2 to a CP3. My new Gladiator has been sitting in Toledo since May. We will inspect it and replace if needed is not going to be good enough to satisfy the national safety "Stop Sale" In my opinion or surely to God not I hope not. It is a known mechanical issue with Multiple class action law suits with at least 2 manufactures that I know of.

Chatter in other threads is that supposedly new parts are now available to start the recall. What those part numbers are and if they are superseding has yet remain to be seen but it still is looking like what I mentioned of a pump replacement and fuel system inspection, so yeah the same as before but it is not 100% certain yet if a new part number redesigned HPFP is going in.

I have attached the JT TSB which was uploaded to the NTSB webpage this week. Has part numbers and instructions for replacement.

Dude there are a lot of bs extras on this build sheet- dual doors….. headliner, steel bumper…. Granted the dual doors are valuable to some folks- they aren’t cheap from the factory…. ??‍♂ lots could be shed to put the price into a more normal range (70-73k).

That’s insane, aside from the 4 grand for the doors and the color this is the same truck I got for 63 grand.

No one is paying that though. I was just offered, and may still consider if they can come down a little more, a fully loaded diesel Rubicon-including the cross stitched seats-for $63k. The MSRP was just shy of $75k.......

Except this Jeep isn't for sale because it's my Jeep, that's my custom order I was just at the dealer yesterday and my parts are on order

That's my build, I wanted the half doors because I have kids in car seats and wanted to leave the rear half doors on when I take the roof off, also I liked the oem look. Also I'm not paying anywhere near that price for it.
