Ok so I'm probably gonna ask a question that's been asked already but someone please tell me what the hang up is with damn GSPEC5 ECU and no one wanting to fix it for a supercharger?
I emailed Holly Tech Support, owners of Diablosport, they make the current ECU for RIPP and probably a few others, and was told they aren't even trying to research the GSPEC5 and don't even know if they will...
So does anyone else know of a supercharger manufacturer that does, preferably without paying a fortune for some crazy custom tune? Thanks

Definitely a lot of threads (it’s GPEC5 btw). From my understanding, it’s not about “fixing” but rather no one has figured out how to crack it yet. These companies have to balance cost/risk vs. reward.

It's not that it cannot be cracked. It has been. The problem is the memory fails with repeated flashing.

Basically jeep can't settle on an OS and now you have a shady no brand ecm that fails, with questionable engine hardware.

That's a hard road to hold.

GPEC5 has officially been cracked and there are several places that are doing installs for 22+ years (at least here in Colorado). As mentioned earlier though, it remains to be seen how the GPEC5 holds up to repeated tunes or is it going to be more of a one and done type ECU.

Here's a link of another company installing one on a new Gladiator as well so it is possible.

Are you positive that's a GPEC 5?

They specifically mention it being GPEC5 in the video description and in the video itself and how it had to be cracked differently from the old ECUs. It is a foreign sales jeep so maybe they have something else going on over there but it sounds pretty convincing to me that they were dealing with the same stuff we were here.

Not going to call this video click-bait but let's call a spade a spade...
