1) Expensive - $$$6K option + $$ routine maintenanceSo why isnt it still offered![]()
2) Poor towing performance
3) Overheating
4) Astronomical major repair costs - ex: cab must be removed to remove turbo.
5) Chassis not designed for diesel engine - see 3 above items (an engine not designed for its chassis offers up a COMPROMISED vehicle). V-8 screamers might take note.
However, all being said above, I love my compromised Ecodiesel Glad.
PS: The original factory sticker was $74K plus the dealer added sticker came to $78K !!!! I only bought because of the substantial discount at $63K OTD and that is what I consider to be at the top of the price range $$$$$ for a mid-sized truck!!!
