That is something not talked about, i sort of assumed my 9cents a KW/h would remain, as it has been in phoenix (SRP) for as long as I can remember...Nobody wants to talk about what electricity will cost after the infrastructure is ‘upgraded’. Enjoy the ICE ‘Good ole days’ while you can.
I wonder for a billions of $$$ the government is subsidizing for these cars, if they could have built and pain in full enough thorium nuclear reactors and a beefed up grid, THEN when power is almost free, clean, safe and abundant people would flock to battery??? during that time batteries would have a few more years to get these batteries figured out. I am a 4xe owner (wifes car) and her 500lb battery equated to 6lbs of fuel, not great from that perspective, but a cool rig that fits our needs.
