I just need to call HP? I am running Beta right now and I looked for the resync and couldnt find it.

My understanding is they have to activate it against your VIN since this is still a Beta type of feature. There are also other parameters they activate for @DAVECS1 that allows him to get better tuning results.

That is why I included the link to the other thread where it was discovered and resolved by one of our members working with HPtuners.

Well, add to the the wrong lifter club… Starting having misfires at wot, P0300 cel and went into limp mod twice. Right intake cam lobes chewed up!

Of those that have PROVEN cam issues - such as Dave's, Alfonso's and others mentioned in the forum here, has anyone tracked build dates??
I'm very curious as just on the surface, those proven to have cam problems and incorrect lifters as the cause (all but proven) they seem to be 2020, and yet not all 2020's have had the issue (yet) so....... build dates?
Mine is a 2020 model year, 26,000 miles and thus far, not so much as a click or clack or tick or tock or misfire of any sort.

I also find it extremely interesting that such an engine can go 62,000 miles before kicking an error and shredding metal - that's a heck of a lot of miles!
What's up with that? If the thing isn't holding pressure in the rocker to keep the thing locked in low lift mode, how the @#%$ is it holding out on the high lift?
There's got to be more to it.

I could be wrong, but my observations are that this is restricted to 2020 MY. Maybe early 2021. I've seen no mention of it with 2022 or late 2021. Before anyone says "there hasn't been enough time/miles", look back and see that the 2020s were doing it less than a year later, some with under 20,000 miles, so there's been time for it to show up with 2021 MY or even early 2022 MY JTs if it were going to happen.
So, again, I could be wrong, but on the surface, this looks like a 2020, perhaps early 2021 MY, issue.
Build dates, miles when it happened, and - were incorrect lifters involved?

Since there are two solenoid valves that control the VVL, which cylinders were impacted might help explain, too......... if nothing else, a nice to know thing so that a person might suggest "if your misfires are with cylinders a and b but not c, look here"

Mine was built 11/05/2019 and has 26,000 miles, no misfires, no odd sounds, smooth as silk.
So - from what I've seen, that puts mine in the range of those having problems.

I'd love to see if anyone has reported cam/lash adjuster(lifter)/rocker issues with late 2021 or 2022 model JTs.

Not sure of my production date. Purchased August 2020 so I’m sure I’m in the mix also. 13,000 miles and no problems yet.

I only have about 3-5k with the sc, so the majority of my miles were stock engine.

Fonzie had the wrong lifters.

If you are curious if you have the problem, go honestly bury the pedal from a dead stop through 4th gear. If you don't throw a light. I believe you are fine. If you do, I will bet you a Miller high life it is cylinder 1,3,5 misfiring.

I have helped about 2-3 people a week since my post. I would say 20 percent are 2021 models.

I looked at fonzies data and unfortunately was able to tell him with high confidence things had gone south.
