Keep what you've got. I think the differences would be small compared to what you've already built out. Looks great.

Keep it, not worth the 10k loss, for that money add a supercharger to your rig and I'm sure it will put more of a smile on your face than the Mojave

I don't really see the Mojave as being worth it. Most of the extras are small dollar items. The shocks are cool but you can always do those after market and not worth $7k. Even the rear locker is not THAT much to get an ARB.

They lengthened the wheel base 1/2" which may not impact anything wrt service or parts, but I have had enough funky different products like bikes and such to know that when you start tweaking things to make them unique from the rest of the lineup then you can get into weird issues later.

I was able to test drive a Mojave on Sunday albeit all on-road driving. There is really no difference on-road so that was no real help. I am leaning towards keeping the Max Tow I have and putting in the lockers and better suspension. The dealer says he really wants to purchase my Gladiator whether I buy a vehicle or not so I guess the only deciding factor is if he offers more than $42K I might reconsider it.
Why would you sell it for less than you have in it at this point? It's a perfectly good, more than perfectly good vehicle on it's own. He cannot offer you a better deal than what you have in your hand already.

This. Completely this. The ONLY two things that keep pulling me towards a Mojave are the orange accents and the fact that I won't have to do the work to add the stuff. I can definitely build the same vehicle but man... those little things are nice. If I already had a Max Toad... I probably wouldn't even be on this forum. (c;

For the OP, keep what you have and keep going. I debated for a long time between the Mojave and Rubicon. Same price but they are willing to deal more on the Rubicon. In the end, orange is far superior to red every time.

So our trail rated Jeeps are essentially desert rated with everything else that is similar with the Mojave?

Personally, I don’t know why folks start threads soliciting feedback from a forum about whether or not they should purchase a vehicle. when was the last time any of you sat at a dealer and said to yourself, “i asked the forum if I should do it and they said no, so I’m not going to buy this model, this trim, or add this package.” Oh never??

OP if you have/had the opportunity to pickup a Mojave and you want to move your Sport S for it after dropping “x” amount of dollars into it, and financially the deal is something you can handle and makes sense to you? then it’s your decision....

Looking for input from folks who have no nickels in that quarter is just crazy. Do what makes sense to and for YOU and not what makes sense to me or anyone else.

just out of curiosity which way did you lean?

So many people are only doing things for the acceptance of others apparently

Mojave, to me, isn’t worth it. It’s a rubicon priced sport with a rear locker.

Yes I know it has a “beefed up” frame and stronger front axle knuckles and reservoir shocks. But since 95% of jeeps are mall crawlers...unless that really matters to you then it’s an irrelevant Jeep model with parts on it that mean nothing. Unless you’re paying for the hood. Yay.

You make a great point. I think threads like that should be worded more like “I really don’t fully understand these models, pls explain them to me”

there’s really only 3 models.

Sport (with or without max tow)
Mojave
Rubicon

Everything else is just noise.
