So I looked at the PPE website from my computer not phone, much easier to read.. It says it is compatible with the OEM gasket. Sorry for the question when the answer was so easy to find (Using my computer, not phone).
So only question is the ZF fluid actually the same as the Mopar fluid. The ZF fluid is a lot cheaper...

Thanks Dan. i am going to buy an extra filter too…
I hope the OEM gasket works with the PPE Pan, if it doesn’t that would make it a hard no for me.
I am also going to have a bung welded into my original pan, just incase I want to change it back for any reason.
I just completed this 2 x recently due to purchasing the wrong PPE model from amazon the 1st time. The factory gasket was fine and was reused initially. I picked up a new gasket for around $60 at the local dealership while waiting for Northridge to ship the correct model, not needed but certainly won't hurt. I'm at 40K ish miles, ecodiesel, on 40's since new, smart cap, Alucab RTT, Ford 9 inch rear axle, Banks Deringer/Pedal Monster. It's heavy and tuned, climbs through the CO rockies often, many Moab and overland trips, heavy manual mode engine braking. I was surprised the fluid was in pretty good shape. Ended up using around 11 L of Ravenol 8 HP total with the shallow PPE Pan. You can get 4L jugs from blauparts. A pneumatic fluid pump is very helpful. It's a simple. job on the 3.0, do it in the garage or protected from the wind if outside. If you start with everything cold, you'll have plenty of time to cycle R,P, 1, and 2, while topping off in the temperature window. Hope that helps.

I did read there are 2 different OEM gaskets. Now I just have to get to the bottom of what one to order...

The OEM in mine is white, and is rubber covered metal, very beefy. The mopar new one is black rubber, it has some structure to it but not as firm as the other. The PPE pan has notches for the little posts on the gasket. Both work fine IMO, no leaks with very light torque.

Get the newer one. Your dealership parts department will know. That's what I did. The old one will work. If it is not leaking, obviously it is fine. But the newer one is less likely to leak.

THe ZF and Mopar fluid are the same.

There are other options for fluid, too. Not trying to start an endless debate, but my own experience running Redline D6 has been great. Vavloline has several that work. Just read carefully to find the right ones, including the new Restore and Protect, which looks very interesting, to me.

Anyway, there are options. But the safe one is ZF or Mopar.

I actually found the Mapar fluid on amazon for a good price, so I bought that.
I also emailed Benny for the trans gasket and trans bolts, so I don’t know what gasket I will be sent. I guess I just have to wait and see.

Just a word of caution using a compressor for anything oil related, if a sample of this oil was sent to the lab for analysis, they will detect water in the sample. I had the privilege of using one one time and the lab tech called me to ask why I would have water detected. …it was the compressor used.

I just did the PPE pan last weekend with the extra 1 quart capacity. I have the Diesel, HP875. I purchased the new Mopar gasket just in case. The original gasket was better, so I reused it. I got 5 quarts out and 6 back in. The only way I could get 6 quarts back in was to top off with JT parked running on an 8 degree downhill. I think the transmission needs to be level, not necessarily the vehicle.
The PPE pan comes with new bolts.

What about one of those little hand pumps that you attach to the court bottle?

So the PPE comes with new trans pan bolts? Thank you for the heads up, I was going to order them.

This would be my choice
https://a.co/d/0cwsbTmQ

It holds 1.5 litres. If you have the initial 3 - 4 in there, once engine starts, you can get the next 1.5 in, I can’t imagine the pump would be sucking air so there’s time to get the remaining .5 litre in.

When I changed my trans fluid, I reused the gasket. Around 9 months and no issues with leaks.

This is the latest gasket and the one you want:

https://store.mopar.com/oem-parts/mopar-oil-pan-gasket-68522534aa

The 2020 and until about mid 2021 models came with different metal plate gasket with a thin rubber perimeter seal and are more prone to leaking.
Thanks Hootbro. Now Monday when PPE opens I will call them and order the pan. Their website is weird, when you add to cart, it doesn’t actually tell you the part number you are ordering… I want the one that the fines are already shaved down.
Already ordered the Mopar oil, so I am good there.
This month is get the Jeeps up to date Mouth for me...
