Trying 37's

Was putting new 35's on but found decent 37's to try. I don't know with 4.10s but giving it a go. It will never be a wheeler, it is a pavement/beach princess. So will post pics later

Careful, some people are going to tell you 4.10 and 37" tires are a no go. But not to worry, other people like myself will tell you it will work. I am currently pushing 18mpg around town.

BTW, the way your picture is it looks like you have a 44" tires in the bed. It looks huge.

Keep us posted... looking to swap 37s on my JTR. On stock wheels and tires now , putting on a Teraflex leveling kit this weekend and hope to fit the 37's on 17x9 wheels I have coming in from Rock Trix

My '21 Sport S does just fine on 37s as a daily driver, even with the 3.73 gears. I know 4.10s won't be an issue if you are using like you stated

"It will never work"... the mojave will still do 90mph on the freeway or 90 mph in the dirt in the desert with 37s and 4.10s? Still pulls grades at freeway speeds. If you plan on towing a heavy trailer or are obsessed with holding 8th gear all the time you probably want to regear. If you're fine with only seeing 8th under light loads you'll be fine. 7th gear with 4.10s is identical to 8th gear with 5.13s. The only place the gearing offers a real advantage is 1st gear. Watch how quickly you're out of 1st gear even with 4.10s. Otherwise you're just a downshift away from lower gears.

You’ll be fine. I ran around for awhile on just 2” spacers in the front and nothing in the rear on 37s before going to a 4.5” lift. Mine isn’t even a Rubicon.

I put 37's on mine within days after taking delivery of my 2022. Rubicon, manual, with the 4.10's. I have lived with it for 2 years basically as a 4-speed transmission.

I can tell you "it works" and probably slightly better with the 8-speed transmission. With my manual, I found myself stalling more than any MT I've ever driven because 1st gear was too tall. On the trail I stalled in places in 4LO where I never would have even blinked in the past in my JL with 33's. If you're beach running and mall crawling, you should be just fine.

It works, not nearly as quick I only took on a short hiway blast and it's ok.
It looks the part but my other jeep has4.88 and 33s so I like gears. It is definitely more powerful than the 4.0s so better but I doubt it will pull the car Trailer now. I know it will but not optimal. Thanks for comments.

Not bad took on hiway tonight and really don’t feel much different and I am a proponent of big gears but probably wouldn’t be a wheeling machine,but not my intention anyway, I did fuel mileage for last 20k and it has been 18.9 driving like an old man and I am, so will be interesting to see if a major impact or not.

I had my 37s on 4.10s for a while and it was OK. But,,, the 4.88s are so much better. You can go with the factory 4.10s as long as you want. But I see 8th gear and 80mph at 2400rpm and it's great.

Ran 4.10s for over 2.5 years. Felt fine daily. I don't mind running on lower gears or higher rpm. Only bothered when going to the mountains. Then I got a light weight offroad trailer, 2000lbs. It was almost unbearable lugging that thing up the mountains. Went straight to 5.13 and have been pretty happy with it during the last 4 months. Still have crappy mpg, around 13 combined.

It was almost unbearable lugging that thing up the mountains. Went straight to 5.13 and have been pretty happy with it during the last 4 months. Still have crappy mpg, around 13 combined.

Kinda what I thought. I had it out last night and really have to run 65 68 on flat to see 8th. It might work for my driving. Thanks

Did almost the exact same thing, 37 and 4.10's for a while then started pulling my boat and knew I needed a change. 5.13's put my truck right back where it needs to be. I'm always a fan of overgearing, driving a brick on wheels will never be happy at 80+ on the interstate. Might as well overhear and really enjoy the around town, towing, and wheeling part of it.
