Picked up a bottle jack at Home Depot yesterday to add to the recovery gear box. This will keep it more accessible than under the back seat with a car seat on top. I’m thinking about finding a bracket that will hold it behind the driver’s rear seat like my work truck has - Chevy 2500.
I've never liked any of my GM vehicles half as much as I like this JEEP. Well maybe I liked the Volt more than half as much as I like my Gladiator!

Why not a high lift jack. I saw one around town was stored on the hood.

Hi-Lift or Bottle Jack - What is the Better Tool for Changing a Flat Tire out on the Trail?

Rather use a bottle jack than high jack for my needs. If I was getting it stuck on rocks the hi-lift would be the choice. I like the looks of it on the top rack so I put it up there. I want to install a decked system & need to haul a few things so a spare tire in the bed is a no-go. I Doubt it will fit underneath without modifications so it left one option at least in the short-term. I may try a Clayton curved track bar at some point they say it should allow a 37 to fit. Chances are I’ll never need it but at least I have one available in case I do. I think I can use the roof rack to hoist it down.

I think you are right. There was some Steinjager stickers in the box. I still bought my rock rails off of an ace engineering website though. I don’t recall which one exactly.
