The first vehicle where I went anal in cleaning was my brand new 1987 Suzuki Samurai. One weekend while in my parents driveway (too dangerous to have your legs sticking out at my apartment complex), my little sister came out and was teasing me, "WHO will see that ?? WHY are you doing that ? You're crazy !!". My Dad, walking by asks my sister, "Do you only brush your front teeth ? No one can see the back teeth.". She snorts and goes in the house. I scooted out and stood up and said, "Thanks, Dad.". My Dad goes, "Oh, kid, I wasn't defending you. What you are doing IS crazy, she's right, there. I just wanted to shut your sister up.".

Right now my Dad is looking down from heaven and gave Raquel Welch a nudge and said, "Look. Look at my crazy son. He's at it again." Raquel looks, says, "Why is he doing that ?" My Dad says, "Here knows." She says, "Huh ?" "Well, I can't say heaven knows because we're already here.". Then they laugh and go to their favorite Pub. Beers are free.

What's that famous song by Styx ? Oh yeah, "Too Much Time on My Hands".

Yeah, that's what I got....

My latest "project" and I use that word loosely. For those that were in Motor T, you'll get my latest folly. I saw this decal (actually a stencil in the military) on every vehicle in the motor pool. Sitting around, bored, I did the "Eh, why not ? It's removable, nothing permanent.". So I did.

Hope you all laugh as loud as I did..... I know, beyond silly. But I bet it will bring the Motor T guys to my Jeep !! (probably to ask why or what is wrong with me....)

I loaded it into Google Gemini and wasted some water and electricity fooling around.

I like the Method 703s. And this gives me some ideas to play with later for some decals to cover up some scratches. But anyway.

Moving some stuff around and redoing my house battery system. I wanted to add a relay switch panel and controller that has a wireless remote. Now I can control from the panel in the bed, or take the wireless controller with me into the cab. Will also be nice when I add a chase light and camp overhead lights to my cap.

Added some DV8 setback molle pockets. For my needs, the nets work fine in the doors because I only put dog poop bags (without poop) in them so no stretching. Instead of ripping all of it out I chose to cut the nets and leave the elastic band which keeps my Dude Wipes from moving or making noise. These are a really well made product. The packaging was amazing.

Currently the Element is strapped above the sunvisor molle pouch thing I have. It works but don’t know if that’s its permanent home. Might pickup a 100 to put elsewhere. I like how compact those are to have extinguishers in multiple places.

Used a credit card for her. When I first got the Jeep in March of 2022 from TriCity Jeep in Eden North Carolina I drove it straight down to Fort Myers Beach in Florida for a vacation with friends. After I got it back to Missouri in April of 22 I took it to a guy who specializes in Ceramic coatings.

This April I did the only Badge of Honor trail in Florida [Tread Lightly! Four Wheel Drive Way] on my way back from wintering in the FL Keys. Those who went before weren't kidding when they said it was going to pin stripe the hell out of the Jeep. So I took it back to my guy, $1800 later it looks brand new.

Is he really "your guy" when it costs $1800. Just kidding. It looks great!

Those are sweet. Of If I didn’t have seat covers I’d totally get some of those.

You can still do the strap on types. They work pretty well. That’s what I use in mine. They ain’t fancy but they’re functional.

Took me a bit to figure out where they were mounted....my 2023 has leather pouches on the seatbacks (leather trimmed seats). I thought all gladiators came with pouches and not that ill-conceived netting system on the doors.

The only thing I keep in the door nettings (and the ones behind the folded rear seat) is spare air. If you put anything weighing more than a postage stamp, them nets hang lower than grandma without a bra....and swing just as much.
